A massive thank you to all the riders, families, club members, marshals, medics, officials, sponsors and spectators who supported this weekend’s Scottish Motocross Championship at Duns.

We hope everyone enjoyed an awesome weekend of racing 👊

The track was in fantastic condition, the racing was top class, and it was great to see so many people back at Duns supporting Scottish motocross.

Special thanks also to everyone behind the scenes who helped make the weekend happen. You guys are awesome!!

We’ll look at running another practice day soon. No confirmed date yet — updates will be posted on Facebook, Instagram and our website as soon as confirmed.

Practice and Qualifying starts at 9.00am on Saturday and 8.30am on Sunday.

Racing gets under way from 11.00am

The gate is open to general public from 9.00am on both days. Practice and Qualifying session run from 11.00.

🏁 Scottish Motocross Championship at Duns Motocross Track this weekend 🏁

The 2026 Scottish Motocross Championship heads to Duns this weekend for Round 2 of the series, with riders travelling from across Scotland and beyond to compete on one of the country’s most iconic motocross circuits.

📅 Saturday 9th May
Youth Championship racing plus Adult 2-Stroke Championship classes

📅 Sunday 10th May
Expert, Pro & Amateur Championship racing alongside 65cc, SW85cc & BW85cc youth classes

📍 Duns Motocross Track – TD11 3NS

⏰ Gates open to spectators from 9:00am both days
🏁 Racing starts from approximately 11:00am

👦 Under 12s FREE
(Weekend wristbands valid both days)

There’ll be some of the best motocross riders in the country on track across the weekend, with plenty of action for spectators, families and riders alike.

⚠️ Please remember Duns Motocross is part of a working farm:
🐑 Dogs must be kept on leads at all times
🚮 Please respect the venue and take rubbish home with you

The second round of the 2026 Scottish Motocross Championship comes to Duns Motocross Track in the south east of Scotland this weekend!

The fastest Youth riders in the country will compete on Saturday the 9th of May supported by both of the adult 2 stroke championships.

Sunday the 10th of May will see Amateur, Expert and Pro class riders compete for their Scottish titles alongside youth riders in the 65cc, SW85cc, & BW85cc classes who will be competing alongside the adults in the first and second blocks of the day.

Practice and Qualifying starts at 9.00am on Saturday and 8.30am on Sunday.

Racing gets under way from 11.00am

The gate is open to general public from 9.00am on both days. Practice and Qualifying session run from 11.00.

Spectator entry is £10 on the gate under 12s are free. A single wristband can be used on both days, but must be worn at all times.

Please be aware that Duns Motocross Track is part of working farm which has just come out of lambing season.

Dogs MUST be on leads at all times!, please keep away from all livestock and take any rubbish that you have home with you. 🙏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

🏁 BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY – PRACTICE DAY ON!

After a wet Sunday, we’re good to go for Bank Holiday Monday 👊

🌤️ Track is looking prime
Ripped, gripped and ready to go 🔥

🕙 Time: 10:00 – 16:00
📍 Duns Motocross Track

This will be run in partnership with Scotia Motocross Club, with full medical cover in place.

👉 Marshals still required
We’re looking for a few more marshals on the day – if you can help, please drop us a message.
👉 £70 paid for the day
👉 No experience needed – just need to be reliable and willing to help. Age 16+
👉 Full support and briefing on the day

🏁 Sunday Practice Day Cancelled - Weather 🌧️

After reviewing the forecast, tomorrow’s weather is looking pretty poor ☔ so we’ve taken the decision to cancel Sunday’s practice day.

However…

🌤️ Bank Holiday Monday is looking much more promising

Before we commit to opening, we want to get a feel for numbers 👇

👉 Would you ride if we opened for practice on Monday?

Give us a vote and/or drop a comment so we can gauge interest. As always, proper track prep takes time, fuel and machinery, as well as paramedics and marshals, so we need to make sure there’s enough demand to make it worthwhile.

We’ll make a final call based on response and confirm plans ASAP.

Very very sad news today with the passing of such a gentleman within the sport.
Deka was a very well loved, appreciated and valued supporter and visiter of our track.
The cheeky face behind the lens that always took the time for a catch up and a laugh. A very thoughtful and talented man that dedicated so much of his time to be a part of so many journeys and careers in MX.
It was truly an honour to have known you, Sir!
Our thoughts are with you’re family and to those that had the privilege of knowing you.
May you rest in peace 🤍
