Some shots from our recent Rescue Emergency Care Outdoor 1st Aid course. Organised by Castle Craigs Canoe Club, with other sea paddlers from Garnock Canoe Club and Lothian Canoe Club - all of whom are now safer paddlers. Great team effort all round.

The Lochgoilhead Scout Centre take their 1st Aid seriously, and have recently undertaken the Rescue Emergency Care Advanced 1st Aid Course over three days. Two intense days of learning, followed by a tough day of full on realistic scenarios in the intense cold ensured that the team are well prepared for any emergency.
