Sophie Mackay (Dunnet), one of our standout Caithness Junior Squad members, has been selected for the Scotland U15 team heading to Dublin next month — and this will be her first cap for Scotland! 🛩👏💪

She’ll be competing on the international stage in the Quadrangular Tournament against Ireland, England, and Wales — an incredible opportunity and a massive milestone in her young career! 🏸💥

Even more impressive! Sophie is one of just TWO players from the entire Highland region to make the 10-player squad. That’s something truly special — and something we’re immensely proud of! 💪

This selection is a powerful reflection of your hard work, dedication, and passion for the sport, Sophie. You’ve earned every bit of this moment.

Your hard work, dedication, and passion for badminton (and sport in general) truly inspire the next generation of players. 🙌👏

A big well done to Chloe Mackenzie who has obtained her HLH green hoodie award.

Chloe recently obtained her badminton basics license and is involved in multiple sports across the county.

As a badminton player Chloe Mackenzie has become Scotland’s number one ranked player in the under-19 girls’ doubles stakes, following a superb showing at the Yonex MCFM East of Scotland U15 and U19 Gold Championships in Edinburgh.
