🎀 MURPHY’S BREAST CANCER AWARENESS CAMPAIGN 🎀

Seven years ago, we created this very special pair of Murphy’s Gaelic Gloves for a loyal customer and her teammates, as they showed their support for a fellow player who had just finished her breast cancer treatment.

A simple design, but the pink ribbon speaks a thousand words. 💗

This October, we would love to hear from members of the Gaelic football community who may be interested in being part of another meaningful initiative.

If you or someone close to you has been affected by breast cancer and you would like a pair of Gloves (new design to follow), please send us a private message.

This is Christina McCusker and her beautiful children. Christina is one of the most committed members of An Clogher Éire Ógs, everyone will recognise her from our tuck shop serving tea, coffee and treats alongside her Niece Ciara! ☕️ 🇶🇦

Additionally, Christina is a huge part of our Cultural committee, encouraging young people to participate in Scór Na nÓg and promoting the Irish Language! ☘️

On top of all of that Christina is a mother to Kylagh and youth players Cathaoir & Daithi! She is a local business owner on Clogher Main Street, working self employed as a hair dresser.

Christina has always cheered and supported our club and now it’s time we show her the same support 🫶🏼

At just 38 years old, life took a devastating and unexpected turn for Christina and her family.
At the beginning of the year Christina was diagnosed with a rare and highly aggressive Grade IV brain tumour.

This is news no one should have to hear.
