The key skill is restarting quickly instead of waiting for a “perfect Monday.”

A simple rule that helps: never miss twice.

One skipped workout or one unhealthy day is normal; try not to let it become a streak.

Want to hit your protein goals without overthinking it?
Here are my top 3 simple tips 👇🏼

1️⃣ Build meals around protein!
Instead of adding your protein as an afterthought, think about it first. Aiming for at least 20g protein per meal helps to spread your intake throughout the day. Focus on gaining a variety from both meat and plant sources.

2️⃣ Plan ahead.
Have your staple protein foods that you can plan a meal around, e.g. eggs, Greek yoghurt, cottage cheese. Convenient > Perfection.

3️⃣ Keep high-protein snacks handy.
These help to keep you feeling full to your next meal and helps you hit your goal throughout the day. A post workout high protein snack will help with gains 💪🏼

Returning to exercise after having a baby looks different for every mum, and that’s ok.

Active Mums isn’t about “bouncing back.” It’s about rebuilding strength, restoring confidence and supporting your body through recovery.

Mum K started Active Mums in January, she started with learning how to lift correctly and listened to her body. She didn’t compare herself to the other mums; she chats and laughs, gives me bad manners, all while gaining strength and getting the best encouragement from her little man 💙
