A young club, formed in the early years of the 2000's still in it's forming stages with a young senior panel which debuted in 2012. When the club first started, there were only a few playing u-16 members with the rest of the girls still only u-12 and u-14. With the efforts of Kate Young and Maggie Little in the early years the girls soon mastered basic skills and began developing into highly skilled players at their age groups competing in the loacal competitions in Tyrone. With many county representatives at u-14 and u-16 level. The club then began to grow, larger in numbers, with Kate and Maggie recruiting help and coaching from the local hurling club Eoghan Ruadh who continue to support the club. Over the years the club began to dominate in Tyrone at underage levels making several Championship finals at post primary and u-14 level before winning both the u-16 league and championship. Then the first ever minor team went on to win both the League and the Championship in 2010 under management of Brian McGilloway, Tiernan Morgan and Damian Casey, with great help and support from Martin Donnelly. Martin was also highly involved in the club with equipment and financial support with organising fundraising events alongside Deirdre Barker. The same management team then went on to help set up a senior panel two years later who went on to win the Club's first ever senior title, winning the Tyrone Junior Championship! The next year our u-14's went on to the All-Ireland Feile to represent Tyrone in 2013 with manager Mickey McErlean. The club continues to thrive within the Dungannon community with ongoing support from the local Gaelic clubs, and still competing at every age group.
