| Struan Bailey is part of Scottish Swimming’s Young Ambassador programme and moved into water polo as a natural progression through his swimming club to stay in the wider sport 🤽

There are around 16 clubs in Scotland with an active water polo section for all ages and abilities, and with a well-established competition calendar, there are opportunities to learn the basics as well as play regular games.

Five of these players (Tim McCawley, Johnny Larkin, Steven Enright, Brett Inmon, and Ken Fussell) were selected in the 1979 Australian U18 team, with Sid Cluett as coach.

🌟 What a weekend for our juniors! 🌟
Our young players gave it their all at the and showed amazing teamwork, effort, and spirit. 💪⚡️ We couldn’t be prouder of how they represented the club – on and off the pool.

A huge thank you to the organisers, volunteers, referees, the other teams, and of course to all the parents and supporters for making it such a special event. 🙏

📢 This weekend our Junior Team U14s are travelling to Dunfermline to play in the BMC Cup Autumn Festival at Carnegie Leisure Centre. 💦 😀💪

We are very grateful to Forth Valley Water Polo Club for teaming up with us & helping ensure that our youngsters are able to compete in this much anticipated event.🤽 🤽‍♀️ 🤽‍♂️

Last night was something truly special for our juniors — our very first training session at the iconic Western Baths Club. 💦 🏊 🤽

This Category A listed Victorian pool was the perfect setting for an evening of skills, teamwork, and plenty of smiles.

A huge thank you to Mark for coaching us — the focus on technique and scoring was fantastic. And of course, the juniors had a brilliant time trying out the famous travelling rings!
