That's the season done and dusted for our U15s. 2 games in 3 days to finish the league off. First off a game against fair city resulting in a 10-0 loss. It wasn't actually a bad performance but every mistake was punished by a very good side and we didn't get our decisions quite right in the attacking 3rd.

That left the boys rooted to the bottom of the table with 1 game to go. They had one shot to get themselves off the foot of the table on the final day against Kelty. A 4-2 victory was a great way to finish the season and lift themselves off the bottom at the last go. Well done to Joe, the final winner of potm.

The joy on their faces was wonderful to see after all the hard work they've put in, the up and down season that they've had and because of how hard this run in has been because of a lack of player availability due to injuries.

There has been so many positives over the season for the squad. A first time in the 4th round of the Scottish cup for all bar one of the players, a quarter final in the fife cup (lost in the cruelest of ways on penalties) to name just a few of the positives. Well done boys, onwards and upwards to next season!!

Unfortunately our U15s had to forfeit their game on Saturday due to low numbers. They've got their penultimate game this evening and then finish up on Thursday bringing their season to a close. The boys are looking to finish the season as strong as possible.

Our U15s invited the Swifts along to Townhill park on Saturday for another league game. The boys had to play again, on the poor surface, with no subs and were disappointed in their performance with the game finishing in a 5-3 loss. Best of luck to the Swifts for the remainder of the season.

Lack of availability and injuries, meaning no subs regularly, has made this an incredibly tough run in for the boys but hopefully it will help to build some extra resilience and belief into them. 3 games to go and they are looking to finish the season as strong as they can πŸ’ͺ🏻

A fairly cold Tuesday evening saw our U15s hosting Glenrothes Athletic at Townhill.

A good, battling first half saw us get to half time with a 2-1 lead. Unfortunately the boys couldn't maintain the levels and Glenrothes ran out 8-2 winners. A few things to fix from the 2nd half but plenty positives to take from the first half as well. Best of luck to Glenrothes for the rest of the season.

Our U15s had their 3rd game in 7 days on Saturday with an away trip to Ladybank to face AM soccer in the league. Performances have been up and down recently so the boys were keen to go out and show/remind themselves what they are capable of.

An 8-1 victory definitely managed to show themselves what they can achieve. Hard work and bravery at the fore of a good performance. A few things still to work on, especially when building out from the back but lots of positives to carry forwards to their next game. Best of luck to AM soccer for the rest of the season.

Tuesday evening saw Nova Star visit our U15s at Townhill Park for another catch up league game. A game that they never really caught up with resulting in a 4-1 loss.

With only 9 outfield players and 2 keepers available, Murray stepped into the unfamiliar black and white top for us so as we could field a full team, with no subs for the 2nd game running. The state of the pitch makes it very difficult for the boys to play how they want to and they were unable to match the physicality of the opposition. Best of luck to Nova for the rest of the season.

We move on quickly to another league fixture on Saturday which is a chance for the boys to keep working on those areas they need to keep developing.

Well done to Murray, this week's POTM. He had no issues being asked to play out of his comfort zone and position. A hard working performance that can't be faulted πŸ‘πŸ»

Yesterday saw our U15s away to Kelty in the Fife cup quarter final. A 3-3 draw saw it go to penalties with the Norries losing 5-4 and exiting the cup.

The club are incredibly proud of how all of the players approached the game and applied themselves throughout. No subs and 2-0 down at half time they could've easily let their heads drop and given up. But they showed excellent character, determination and footballing ability to work themselves into a 3-2 lead with only a few minutes to go. A deflected shot saw penalties loom. Well done to all the boys that took a penalty, not an easy thing to walk up and do. Let's carry this performance forwards to finish the season strong πŸ‘πŸ»

Best of luck to Kelty in the next round.

Well done to Michal on winning the POTM award. A very tough decision this week as it could've gone to any one of the boys or the team as a whole but a hat-trick edges him out to the front πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Monday saw the return of our U15s after the holidays and the catch up of games begins!

We had Crossgates visit Townhill Park on a relatively nice Monday evening. A 3-1 loss wasn't the best way to start off our run of 8 games in less than 4 weeks. A pretty good performance between the 2 boxes but unfortunately a lack of physicality and decisions at either end cost us ultimately. We move on quickly to our fife cup quarter final Vs Kelty at the weekend

Best of luck to Crossgates for the rest of the season

Well done to Max, POTM for this game
