Match Result

Athletico 3-2 Dougchester

The boys came away with all 3 points Sunday at the New Learning Campus.

A solid first half as Daniel Hepburn turned two chances into goals and Arron Wilkie chipped in with the third to round off a dominant first half performance.

Second half the weather turned and so did the game. We made far too many half chances with no end and a couple mistakes defensively as the away side managed to tuck the ball home for their first in open play and finish a penalty to make it 3-2.

It was a tense final 15 minutes but the boys ran out winners and take the points.

Onto a Midweek match against Lochore as the action doesn’t stop on Wednesday night, details to follow

Refs MOTM - Daniel Hepburn. Well deserved after 2 solid goals, gave the full back a torrid time and was a bright spark in attack throughout!

Coaches MOTM - Greg Steedman. Greg worked his socks off and was a constant presence in the middle whilst attacking & defending. Great performance after a spell on the sidelines. Well done Greg.

Tomorrow the lads kick off the first of 3 games in a week as we play Dougchester at Duloch Learning Campus with an earlier than usual kickoff of 10am
