Dunfermline Squash Club

Dunfermline Squash Club Squash players of all abilities welcome - including those who haven't even tried it yet! Did you know you can burn up to 1000 calories in a hour of squash!?

Based on the McKane Park campus, Dunfermline, squash players of all abilities are welcome at our club, from complete novice to competitive team players. We have two courts available for use at any time by our members for squash or racketball. The courts are bookable for members through our online booking system. We have a third court which is currently available for table tennis and is home a smal

l gym. Current Membership costs, including Dunfermline Sports Club fees, are

- Trial membership - £50 for 3 months (must join on a full membership after trial to continue as a member of the club).

- Individual Adult - £251 per year or £25 per month by Direct Debit
- Married Couple - £375 per year or £36 per month by Direct Debit
- Over 65 - £162 per year or £15 per month by Direct Debit
- Under 21 - £119 per year or £10 per month by Direct Debit
- Under 18 - £47 per year
- Under 15 - £31 per year
- Guest fee - £5 per session (conditions apply)

We believe that our membership fees are very reasonable (price check Fife municipal courts!) and can be paid up-front or over the course of the year by direct debit. Unlike some other clubs, our fees cover all lighting and heating costs (including showers). We have a team that competes in the East of Scotland Squash League each year, an internal ladder and regular tournaments for members who want to get involved more competitively. We also have open nights each Sunday and Tuesday so if you're thinking of joining just come along with your racket and shoes from 7pm. Members and non-members are welcome to come along for a game of squash and to meet fellow squash players. Non-members’ first visit will be free. Get in touch via this page or through our website (dunfermlinesquash.co.uk) if you'd like to know more about joining.

I’m honoured and excited to share that I’ve been elected as the new President of Dunfermline Squash Club and I’m really looking forward to leading the club into an ambitious and energising 2026 season.

Like many of you, my own squash journey began right here at this club. I was lucky to come through at a time when our President then, John Allan, was incredibly generous with his time, advice, and support. That spirit of generosity left a lasting impression on me, and as President, I’m committed to ensuring that ethos continues—where experience is shared, new players are encouraged, and everyone feels welcome and supported.

Looking ahead to 2026, my focus is on strengthening our club community, raising playing standards, and creating more opportunities for members at every level. Whether through new initiatives, increased participation, or greater engagement on and off the court, my goal is to help the club continue to grow and thrive.

I’ll be supported by our new Vice-President, Ian Miller and our Treasurer, Rory Cooper along with the wider Committee, (Alec, Stewart, Dave and Conor) whose dedication, time, and ideas are vital to the success of the club. Together, we’re excited to build on the club’s proud history and shape an exciting future.

Scott Jordan

Now how to write into the bye-laws that no-one is allowed to beat the President on court! 🤣
