I am a certified Level 3 Personal Trainer and have an Honours Degree in Sports Psychology (2:1) from the University of South Wales. I have extensive experience of coaching football to children, men and women across a period of 20+
years, and a passion for helping people improve their health and fitness in a way that they find enjoyable and engaging. I am fully PVG checked and have completed the Children Welfare and Protection Scotland course, and have the appropriate insurance to cover the provision of Fitness Instruction/Personal Training. Why are we called "Yes Mate!"? It was born from the idea that we all want to be able to say "Yes Mate" to more requests from friends and family to go out and do things, like play football, walk in the hills, go for a bike ride, play tig, all manner of things. But the issue for a lot of people is that they may not have been/be as active as they would like, and the idea of playing football with their friends is a bit out of reach at the moment. provide small group fitness sessions for people looking to get moving again, to build their fitness and help them to start saying "Yes Mate"" more often. By helping you become Fitter, Faster and Stronger we also help you become Happier through saying "Yes" to more of the things you would like to do. There is no focus on weight loss/measurements/diet/nutrition/calorie counting and instead the focus is on helping you get better at moving your body and improving on your physical performance.
