We’re pleased to announce we’ll be attending another car show in 2026. In August we will head to Wheels Int Lakes for their annual car show. This one comes with an added extra of a live action demo on the Cumbrian Kart Circuit of a selection of cars in attendance! If any of our members are interested in showcasing their SMRC car at this event, let us know!

Earlier in the year at Knockhill, Ava caught up with .cadet.marshal (Not Alan! 😉). They talked all things marshalling, how he got involved and what he enjoys most. Arran’s one of the younger marshall’s within the club, and they discussed his goals for the future and how that ties into his volunteer marshalling.

Fabulous days racing at Kirkistown Circuit in Northern Ireland sees the end of the first half of the 2026 season. Erin McDonald sums up the weekend as we make the journey back to Scotland.

When the commentator says it’s some of the best racing they’ve seen in a very long time, you know the grid put on a masterclass! 🏎️💨

Qualifying and three brutal races all packed into a single day made for an absolute pressure cooker. Sunshine, sudden downpours, and a persistent wind threw everything they could at the Scottish Mini Cooper Cup grid, adding serious spice to this massive away round at Kirkistown! 🌧️🌪️
