☀️ The forecast is looking rather promising... which means Sunday could be the perfect day to spend a few hours at McKane Park!
I've attached a few photos from the opening round at Forfarshire CC to give you a flavour of the cricket, atmosphere and sunshine we're hoping to enjoy here in Dunfermline this weekend. You'll also spot a few behind-the-scenes shots of our volunteers busy preparing McKane Park for the occasion. From paint rollers to cricket rollers, there's been plenty happening behind the scenes to help make the day a success.
If you're planning to come along to Cricket Scotland's Regional Super Series this Sunday, we'll have plenty of refreshments available throughout the day, with all proceeds going directly back into supporting Dunfermline & Carnegie Cricket Club.
On the menu will be:

We can accept both cash and card payments.
🍺 The Sports Club bar will also be open from 12.30pm for alcoholic and soft drinks. Please note that bringing your own alcohol onto the premises is not permitted.
Parking is available at the ground, but if you can, we'd encourage visitors to walk. McKane Park is only around a 10-minute walk from Dunfermline town centre and every space we can keep free helps our players, officials and visitors travelling from across Scotland.
🐾 Well-behaved dogs on leads are very welcome too (provided they don't have a habit of chasing cricket balls!). I'll be handing out FREE Puppuccinos while stocks last, so there'll be a little treat for our four-legged visitors too.
If you've never visited McKane Park before, please don't be shy. Bring a picnic blanket, a camping chair, or simply find a spot to enjoy the cricket. Various committee members will be around throughout the day and will be happy to point you in the right direction, answer questions, or simply have a chat.
I'll be Sarah, usually found behind the cake stand selling my homemade cakes, serving tea and coffee, and dispensing FREE Puppuccinos! So if you're not sure where to go, want to know what's happening, or just fancy saying hello, please come and find me.
