What a gorgeous wee write up of my yoga nidra session at Kirkcaldy Galleries on Monday. πŸ₯°

Monday afternoon, I found myself lying on the floor upstairs at Kirkcaldy Galleries, with my eyes closed and snuggled under a blanket.

Me with my Burntisland gals πŸ₯° Why do I always look insane in selfies! 🀣 Totally buzzing after a gorgeous afternoon at Kirkcaldy Galleries.
They came along to Nidra at the Galleries as part of the Kirkcaldy Yoga Festival where I also delivered a talk on the Science of Yoga! I was totally bricking it, but I think it went well. Twenty folk attended and I got the chance to geek out and share my passion for this ancient wisdom and how modern science is just catching up! 😁

None of my Burntisland babes came (they claim they didn't know about it πŸ€”πŸ€£) So I will be doing it again at some point. So if you are desperate to listen to me rabbit on for half an hour about the nervous system, brainy stuff🧠 neuroscience and yogic philosophy, then keep an eye out!

Huge thanks to the staff at Kirkcaldy Galleries for being so kind and welcoming and letting me use their beautiful spaces. βœ¨πŸ’–

Such a thrill to deliver a yoga nidra this afternoon in this beautiful gallery amongst such delicious paintings.

We weaved them into our nidra journey and connected with the quiet joy of being.

Huge thanks to for helping to make this possible and the staff for being so welcoming & kind. It's a special place.

Looking forward to the next one hopefully 😜✨

Just back from a gorgeous evening at Nidra at the Museum. Tonight we explored the joy of being. The celebration of light & colour and finding wonder & joy in the simple things. Like my rainbow socks, I love them. 🌈

It's always such an honour to share this practice with all that arrive, knowing that there are no expectations, nothing to be done, but to bring a gentle curiosity and rest.

It's my favourite way to spend a Friday evening. ✨

Thanks to all that joined me tonight under the Gemini sky and opened to curiosity, connection and joy.

My next Nidra will be at Kirkcaldy Galleries on the 15th for an afternoon nap then Wednesday 17th at the Yurt.

Just a few spaces left so book in for your joyful connection.

Treats made for our Nidra at the Museum tonight ✨

I love making a little something to share at the end of a yoga Nidra. It really helps people to land and ground after their journey into the dreaming.

I've got two spaces left for tonight. Maybe this is what you need?

Is this meditation cushion smiling? 😁

Yes and no. I've just found this bra wire on the floor of the yurt. It made me smile as bra wires used to be a huge part of my past life in lingerie product development.
Where has it come from I wonder?
If it's yours get in touch! I do know the exact size from the wire (skillz) but I'm not gonna share as that's personal. 😜

I'm also thinking about bringing back my breathwork & meditation course. Enhanced with all my new found yoga therapy knowledge.

Let me know if you are interested and if you'd prefer a weekly course or a day retreat format.

Join us this Friday for a Nidra that connects to our innate joy! I love sharing Nidra, its benefits are far reaching - better sleep, improved mood, greater connection. Studies found dopamine levels increased in yoga Nidra participants by 65%!
