The 2026 championships have came to an end. Couldn’t have went any better! 💪

Scottish Championship 🥇
KMSC Championship 🥇
Melville Championship 🥇
Open Championship 🥇

This weekend was the final meeting of the year at Knockhill and having wrapped up all of the championships early, all pressures were off.

Going into Saturday we qualified pole on a damp track which set us up good for the next races.

In the first race I was caught behind back markers 3 times before finally managing to make a move at the hairpin in the last lap. I set a new personal best of 52.6 seconds in this race which I was happy with especially considering how cold it was.

I came second in race 2 after another epic battle with Daniel cooper racing #12. We both had set backs with back markers in this race which made it a lot more interesting. In the second last lap I got past Daniel at the hairpin due to the back markers. However, he ended up coming past me through Duffus straight after.

By the time the rain came on, on Sunday we had nothing left to gain and did not want to risk damaging the bike considering it’s the only one left.

We started racing wanting to win all 4 championships and have done it in 4 seasons. The lot of us are ecstatic with the result. We started off with 2 fast bikes and half way through the season ended up with only one. This changed the way we raced because we had to consider damage limitations.

I want to say a massive thank you to my dad, Alan Christie, for making it happen. None of this would’ve been possible without him!

Race report!!

Qualified: 4th
Race 1: 3rd
Race 2: 3rd
Race 3: DNS
Race 4: DNS

Well I’ll be honest, that weekend was a shambles. Qualifying was great, race 1 and 2 were even better, then Sunday came and we left absolutely soaked.

Had a great time racing while the weather was good. Started getting the lap times down by the end of the practice day and was happy with the progress by the end of Saturday.

Was looking forward to doing the track in the other direction on Sunday but the weather was too bad and we didn’t want to risk sending the bike down the track.

Sunday ended with a broken race tent, soggy tyre warmers and a van full of wet equipment because of the torrential rain flooding the pits and track. Grateful to have the bike back to Scotland in one piece.

Thanks to Susan Kerr for funding the practice day! Was great to have time on the track before racing.

Race update!!

Qualifying: 1st
Race 1: 1st
Race 2: 2nd
Race 3: 2nd
Race 4: 2nd

The last race weekend of the season for East Fortune and we are officially the winners of the Melville club and open championship. I’ve had some good races with Daniel cooper racing #12 over the season.

Started off qualifying pole which set me up well for the rest of the weekend.

I led the first race on Saturday and was feeling good until it was red flagged due to the rain. I was glad, as the main objective of the weekend was to bring the bike home in one piece for the Isle of Man.

Race 2 ended up being run on Sunday morning due to lack of time on Saturday. Came 2nd in this race as well as race 3 and 4. Well done to Daniel and team for a great end to the season at East Fortune.

Massive thanks to Kenny Robb at KRD Race Paint for getting the fairings done so well in such a short time once again. If anyone needs anything done with fairings, we highly recommend going to him! Big thanks to all the sponsors as usual!

Race report!

Race 1: 3rd
Race 2: 5th
Race 3: 2nd
Race 4: 1st

Well that was an interesting weekend😂

Qualifying was a disaster. I have to give Gordon Donaghy his due for not punching me after I tried to overtake him into railway and wiped him out in the second lap. In hindsight, I should’ve just had a bit of patience and waited for an opportunity seeing as it was just qualifying. I qualified 13th which set up a challenge for the rest of the weekend.q

There was a rush to fix the bike on time for the first race, massive thank you to Kenny and Mike for their help. I started in 13th in every race of the weekend. In the first race, I was happy to come 3rd considering how the morning went.

In race 2 I had a bad start and was still a bit hesitant on the overtakes, ended up taking 5th place.

On Sunday I woke up feeling back to normal. In race 3, I had a good start and managed to work my way up to second place by lap 3. In the end, I could not close the gap between me and Daniel but was happy with second place seen as I came from 13th.

The last race of the weekend was the best one. Started in 13th again and came all the way up to second in the first lap. Daniel Cooper was absolutely flying this time, but I managed to get past him in the last lap which was a great way to salvage a weekend that started as a complete disaster.

Massive thanks to Kenny and Mike Robb for coming to help on Saturday. We wouldn’t have made it to the next race without them. Also just want to say congratulations to Daniel cooper racing #12 for his first pre injection race win. You were on form all weekend.

Race Report!

Qualifying: 6th
Race 1: 1st
Race 2: 2nd
Race 3: 1st
Race 4: 1st

Knockhill in reverse for a change this weekend. Got a good practice in on Friday which helped get the times down.

As usual, I was cautious in the rain and ended up qualifying 6th. Pulled it back up to first in the first race of the weekend after a great start.

As for race 2, I led the race until the second last lap when Alan McGregor came up the inside of me at the hairpin and landed me in 2nd.

Sunday started off rainy so we had a quick tyre change which is always hectic. We originally started with wets, changed the rear to a dry, and a few minutes before the race started, we decided to hell with it, we’re putting on the slicks.
I started the race in 6th again. I got to third position by about half way through the race. At that point there was a 5 second gap to make up but managed to make it back up to first in the last lap of the race.

I’d like to thank Susan Kerr and Susan Bruce for the practice sessions. Definitely helped me get a feel for the track in reverse again.
