I've listened to your feedback and lengthening hamstrings and opening hips was something the majority wanted to do. So for 4 weeks we'll work on these areas along with breathwork, mediation and relaxation.
Some of you might want to work towards getting your splits but if that's not for you that's also ok. The asana we will be doing will help towards your long term mobility.
Please note this class is not just for pole gals and it will be beginner postures.

I'm back with a 4 week block of beginners yoga. Each class will begin with gentle grounding, breathwork then moving at your own pace. You'll be supported to adapt to what suits your body and rewarded with a deep relaxation at the end. This is your time to move, to pause and to notice what your body has been asking for. The weather is just too unpredictable so I'm back in Studio-X this Sunday for beginners yoga. Come and join me for some deep asana and relaxation on a Sunday evening. £10 to book. Regular classes will recommence mid September.

Back by popular demand. Thursday evening outside the sailing club Dalgety Bay. Some forecasts are saying it's going to be 24 degrees and sunny (met weather) whereas the BBC states there might be drizzle, so I'll keep my eye on it and confirm Wednesday. D/M or like to show your interest please x

If you hadn't heard there's a heatwave and a solar eclipse happening on Wednesday 12th August. So I'm back with an outdoor session at Dalgety Bay sailing club from 5.45 -6.45pm at the same time the Sun, Moon and Earth will be aligning. My yoga practice will be very gentle with slow, restorative flow and grounding relaxation. £10 D/M to book your space.

I've been quiet on my page this week as I've been making the most of the summer holidays with my family. I've got a busy few weekends coming up so classes won't start back until mid August. I look forward to seeing you lovely souls then xx

In my classes Ive been introducing foundational standing yoga asanas, designed to build strength, balance and focus. Our favourites have been Virabhadrasana I & II (Warrior Pose) and this “peaceful” warrior that combines a lunge with a graceful side stretch and gentle back bend. It stretches the obliques, intercostal muscles and chest while strengthening the legs.

Don't worry if you were down the sailing club yesterday and saw this (pic 2), it was just a wonderful group of women enjoying their late afternoon shavasana after a gentle yoga lesson in the sunshine.
The conditions on the water were so tempting that it didn't take much to persuade Judith to go out on the paddle boards with me afterwards. Here's hoping for more warm evenings so we can continue to practice outside x
