🎄🏊 SAVE THE DATE — InCAS COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS! 🏊🎄

Yes, we know it’s only August… but apparently Christmas waits for no swimming club. 🎅😂

We’re getting plans underway for our InCAS Countdown to Christmas Club Gala:

📅 Saturday 5th December
📍 Michael Woods Sports & Leisure Centre

For now, this is simply a SAVE THE DATE so everyone can get it into their diaries nice and early. 📆

We’ll also be sending invitations out to other clubs to come along and join us for the day, so we’re looking forward to welcoming plenty of swimmers and making it a brilliant festive gala. 🎄🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Expect great racing, plenty of cheering and, naturally, a healthy dose of Christmas chaos along the way! 🎅🏻🎁

The swimming timetable is attached, if you are one of the lucky ones heading to Glasgow to watch and cheer on Team Scotland!

We would like to wish every member of Team Scotland the very best of luck for the Games. Enjoy the experience, give it everything and do Scotland proud! 💙

And should you be lucky enough to be at Tollcross International Swimming Centre, keep an eye out for our very own Mikey, who will be working poolside in an official capacity. Be sure to give him a wave — although he may be pretending to look important! 👋😂

Like a lot of the Inverkeithing community, we've been following the news around the flooding at Inverkeithing High School and the future of The Wing.

InCAS has trained out of this community for years, and our name carries the town with us wherever our swimmers compete. So the future of local pool provision matters to us — not just as a club, but as part of the wider Inverkeithing community.

We were glad to see Cllrpatrickbrowne recent post confirming that the new Inverkeithing Leisure Centre will have links with local clubs like InCAS built in from the start. We're looking forward to being part of that conversation, and we'll be at the table representing our swimmers, our volunteers, and our families as plans develop.

We also want to recognise the work being done by local councillors and residents around the wider IHS site — including the push to keep the grass pitches available for community use over summer. Provision for young people, whether in the pool or on the pitch, matters, and we stand alongside groups like Inverkeithing United FC in saying so.

Have your say on a new Inverkeithing Leisure Centre

We are currently developing proposals for a new, modern, accessible Inverkeithing Leisure Centre with a pool, at the current school campus. While the details are still being assessed and agreed, we’d like you to tell us where you think this centre should go.

There are two options:

Option A
👉Located West of existing Inverkeithing High School building
👉Co-located with existing Primary School and Nursery
👉Same location and access as existing Community facility

Option B
👉Located East of existing Inverkeithing High School building
👉Separate from existing Primary School and Nursery
👉New location which may require new access arrangements

The consultation is online at haveyoursay.fife.gov.uk - you’ll be able to see a drawing of the site and where the building could sit. All you need to do is follow the link and take 5 minutes to let us know what you think.

**That's the Summer Sizzler done. What a day. 🏊‍♀️**

Zoe, Oliver, Coda, Luca and Lilliana raced across three sessions at the Commonwealth Pool, Edinburgh today — and 9 PB’s from 11 swims.

No medals on offer today, but that's not what today was about. It was about racing fast, racing smart and proving it on one of the biggest stages in Scottish swimming.

Five swimmers. Five PBs. One incredibly proud club. 💚🖤
