You want to know a secret??
I'm not interested in perfection. Your alignment and safety means more to me.
I'm not interested in perfection. How you feel during and after class is more important to me
I'm not interested in perfection. The cues your nervous system responds to are far more important to me.
Perfection isn't the goal. Yoga reflects life and life is rarely perfect. We wobble, we get confused, things fall down, things fall into place, we're happy, we're sad, we're in-between. Sometimes we're balanced and sometimes we're not and that's just life.
When holding a pose you'll often hear me saying lovely, or good, sometimes I'll say beautiful. Not because everyone is perfect, but because everyone is doing what's perfect for them.
Take the adjustment or take the pose further. But do what feels right.
Allow your practise to be as human as you.
