Unfortunately, our upcoming fixture has fallen foul of a combination of school trips, injuries and illness, meaning we’re unable to fulfil the fixture as planned.

We’re disappointed not to be playing, but we look forward to rearranging the game for a new date, which will be announced soon.

⚽️ vs East Fife

We asked for a reaction after last week, and that’s exactly what we got. 👏

The boys were far more lively today and showed much more belief in themselves from the first whistle.

Defensively, we were absolutely excellent — and not just our defenders. The whole team worked incredibly hard, stayed disciplined and defended together throughout.

In attack, we still need to be a little more decisive and back ourselves to take more shots when the opportunities arise. Credit to East Fife though, who were well organised, well drilled and very difficult to break down.

Overall, we’re really pleased to see the boys take the learnings from last week and put them into action today. That’s exactly the response and progression we were looking for. 💪

🟨 Fair Play Card – Ruaridh
Relentless in midfield today. Solid in the tackle, worked tirelessly and was always looking to drive us forward. A brilliant all-round performance. 👏

⭐️ Coaches’ POTM – Evan
What a colossal performance in defence! Evan threw himself at absolutely everything, competed for every ball and laid the foundations for the rest of the team to build from. Outstanding. 🧱💪

A really positive morning for the boys and a great game of football to watch.

Gregor is new to the team but has integrated seamlessly since joining and has already made a really positive impression.

He particularly stood out in training this week, where our focus was on defensive play. Gregor showed great determination throughout, working hard in the drills and putting what we had worked on into practice.

A determined display and a well-deserved captaincy this week. 💪⚽️

⚽️ vs DACC Whites

Nowhere near our best against our friends today. At times, we gave them far too much respect and didn’t play with the confidence or intensity we know we’re capable of.

However, we live and learn, and today was another important lesson as we continue to develop and adapt to 9-a-side football.

There were still plenty of positive passages of play, and our goals were particularly pleasing — well worked from back to front, with some excellent team play along the way. 👏

🟨 Fair Play Card – Rueben
Ran himself into the ground today, setting high standards with his work rate in both attack and defence. A brilliant effort throughout. 👏

⭐️ Coaches’ POTM – Aaron
Another who worked tirelessly for the team. Aaron looked to get his foot on the ball and provide some composure and control when we needed it, alongside a great work rate throughout. 💪

Plenty to learn from, plenty to build on, and we go again. ⚽️

As always, Murray gave 100% in training. His attitude and effort were excellent throughout, and it was great to see him taking the key learnings from our drills and putting them into practice during our small-sided games. ⚽️
