Young Hoops This page is for appreciation of some young athletes who dream of playing for the hoops

The Academy strives to develop first team regulars who are capable of performing in the Champions’ League for Celtic. We work with players from as young as 5 years of age and the curriculum becomes progressively more demanding as the players advance through the Academy. The players focus mainly on technique, passing and possession during their early years in the Academy, learning new turns, tricks

and flicks and are encouraged to demonstrate their skills in match situations. The St Ninian’s partnership enables the players of secondary school age to benefit from 9 coaching sessions per week – more than any other club in Europe. The very best performers will then progress to our excellent Development Squad programme. The success of the philosophy and methodology at Celtic Football Club is dependent upon the co-operation, dedication and patience from every member of staff. It is based on trust, respect, teamwork and a genuine belief in the purpose, objective and philosophy of the Academy by staff at all levels of the Club.
