Good morning anglers,
For those that have not met them yet, let me introduce you to the newest family at the Kingennie ponds, our beautiful Kingennie swans.
Speaking of families, brings yours down for a day out on what is looking to be a gorgeous summers day, there is the slightest of breezes, clear blue skies, already at 14 degrees and don’t worry, that big golden ball in the sky is the sun….its been a while since we’ve seen it.
The fly ponds are still fishing well, floating fry and small dries seeing most returns with most action being on the top. We’ve had some high returns with our member Scott in pole position with 17 and Grant just behind him with 13.
The bait pond is fulfilling the majority of anglers tickets and we have only 1 blank out of 16 anglers, the blank only happened due the torrential rain that hit us and the young lad was not keen on staying. Worms, banana or plum powerbait are the top hitters.
Our fridge and confectionery counter are full, freezer full of ice creams for all ages and of course, our bait fridge is full of worms.
Tight lines 🎣
