Excellent session again with Dayna Enable and the gang! It’s amazing to see the dart throws progressing after just a couple of sessions! I think we are going to have to make the challenges even trickier for the next session 😜🎯 A special mention to coach Dane. He’s a young man who has come through the academy and represented us with distinction in many competitions and the academy team. He has worked hard to complete his Professional Darts Players Association coaching badge and is now a fully accredited PDPA coach. Dane has been one of the coaches who has supported the sessions with Enable Scotland and we couldn’t be prouder of him!

A depleted academy due to many kids torturing themselves and attending the Dundee and Dundee United games on Wednesday night resulted in us pausing the grouping games and holding a small in house tournament.
The 21 young darters in attendance were split into 7 random groups of 3, all playing 2 games each with top spot going into the quarter finals.
The final 8th quarter final spot was decided with the 14 second and third place kids having a 1 dart nearest the bull competition, eventually won by Louie defeating Ethan in a bull shootout.

No real upsets to report in the groups with Ringo hitting the only 180 of the group stage.

Special mention to CJ who also hit a 180 on the night as friendly matches took place amongst those not in the knockout stages. And also to Kaden on his win vs Lennon as he brought the roof down with his rapturous celebrations 😁🎯

Finally, Chloe and Stu’s group with our younger and also new attendees had some darts worth a mention too, Logan hitting a high score of 122 and in the same match Archer checking out 80 👏🏼
