This week we take on a familiar side DUMS who we played only a couple of weeks ago drawing 1-1 and winning the shootout for the bonus point.
This time 3 points in the league is up for grabs and the boys are keen to keep up with our good recent league form.

The lads were bang up for it today on a absolute tattie field of a pitch.And started the better side creating a few chances then aka gets the break of the ball just inside the 18 yards and fires it home..1-0.We then keep pushing wanting another goal before half time up steps Brandon Robertson with top class free kick right into the top corner 🎯 ht 2-0

The boys then get told at half time we need to up the tempo and get a few goals.Kade listened up and got 2 quick well take goals on either side of a ancrum pen.4-1.We then start getting sloppy and concende a cpl of poor goals.Ft 4-3

Not a good second half but the main thing is the 3 points and up the road 🔵🔴

Motm- Akachukwu Adiele - was right up for it all game and never stopped.With a special mention to the prodigal son Brandon Scott absolute brick wall back there the day.

After the pitch getting deemed unplayable at south road we managed to get the game moved to riverside.

We started on the front foot and were quickly 2 goals to the good with great finish from traynor from a excellent assist from stu and a excellent solo goal from debutant Mac.We then took the foot off the gas instead off burying the game in the first half.

Second half the boys done what was asked at half time and start building the intensity and had some excellent chances with the athletic keeper in fine form but he couldnt stop a trademark thunderbolt from Jaydn Burnett Ft 3-0

MOTM- Every single player was excellent today with a great attitude but Jaydn burnett-solid shift in the middle capped with a goal.

Todays game was a absolute saturday morning special before a ball was even kicked.First up the league change the ref 20 mins before kick off then with no sign of the dums lads turns out they have set up on south road 2 instead of south road 1 to then tell us they have no corner flags so its then getting a couple of sticks with bibs on them finally GAME ON ⚽️⚽️

The men in green strike first from a good angle early in first half,we then create some good chances and Cammy Rennie pulling of some outstanding saves also,we finally get the equaliser after a corner from Brandon Robertson and some debate who gets the final touch either stu or joe but its game on 👌👌

Second half game swings both ways with blackness creating some good chances with keeper saving from traynor,stu and brandon.FT 1-1

Today we exit the divisional cup after a defeat to a good riverside west end who play some good football andbare a good bunch of lads 🤝

GAME NOW OFF DUE TO PITCH BEING DOUBLE BOOKED

Friday night under the lights‼️

We finally get some league action this week against Hilltown Athletic who we were previously victorious against winning 5-1 at fairmuir.We will be hoping for a repeat of that but know that hilltown are a fit young decent side so it wont be an easy job.

Riverside Athletic AFC 3

With a few no shows and late call offs we went to the game with 3 subs(1 was Mcm Kenny the bucket).

Every player in a blacky shirt put in a big shift and battled well against a well experienced side.So unlucky to no get a pen in first half and the river keeper pulled off a top save in the 2nd half and us hitting the woodwork.

Special mention to Cammy Rennie coming in last minute carrying a injury to go im the sticks and pull off few good saves of his own.

MOTM- 2 boys share it today in joe crawford and Liam Simpson both put in top shifts today.But every player deserves plaudits as we never gave up and battled to the end.
