9 weeks out 📸

close to the big day now. Starting to have the hard days more now but she knows this is where the fun stuff begins. Weight isn’t playing ball but the pictures say a lot more than simply a number on the scale.

Let’s see how lean we can get her.

Tomorrow marks the last day as a personal trainer ❌

To all my clients, past and present, you’ve been absolutely class. I’ve enjoyed every single session and the trust you’ve put in me never goes unnoticed. I’ll leave all the soppy messages for in person 😅

My time in PureGym and Skyaxe has been nothing short of amazing. 2 great gyms and being able to work with your best mate is always a plus!

I will 100% miss Dundee and everyone I’ve met. Some truly amazing people that I’m lucky to call friends but time to go. (Knowing me, I’ll be back 😅).

I’ll still be available online but 1-1 has now fully stopped.

Time to reset and move 👊🏾

Spin King/DJ Vish is out 🚀

Struggling to put on muscle? 🤷🏾‍♂️

Then it might be down to what you’re doing at the moment and it might not be what’s required!

Some questions I would be asking you;

How often are you training muscle groups?
Do you train your legs once a week? Are you wanting bigger glutes but only training them once every week?
Try training them multiple times a week (twice or maybe even 3 times)

How much are you lifting?
Are you stepping into the gym every week lifting the same as before? Maybe you’re not even lifting the same but less. Try bumping up the weight or lifting more for more reps and see how you perform.

How much food are you consuming?
Time to ditch the calorie deficit. You want those big glutes or big biceps then more food needs to be going in! Calorie SURPLUS is your friend. A slow and controlled intake is the goal here.

Are you doing the right exercises?
Following your favourite influencers doing from “frog thrusts” might not be what you need to be doing. Doing the fundamentals and following a structure is what you need.

I promise you, thy these things out and you’ll be in a much better position than before! There’s no hack to these, perseverance and consistency is what you are looking for.

If you need some help getting yourself into the right track then give me message and I’ll help you get there 👊🏾📩

There's an easy way to combat laziness when it comes to committing to your fitness journey

It comes down to a few 🔑 things!

1️⃣ Find something you LOVE doing

At the end of the day, not everyone is going to love the gym, but you can get inspired by finding a new approach to your training.
Doing the same old routine and lifting the same weights will of course drain you of your motivation and love for exercise. Change it up and see what works for you.

2️⃣ Prioritize time in the day to get it done!

Choose a time you know is realistic and will work with your busy schedule and see it as a non-negotiable... just like you'd turn up to a doctors appointment or your hair appointment!

3️⃣ Get someone to hold you accountable

I can not stress this enough. If you really can't get to a point where these first 2 things seem too out of reach.

Either grab a gym partner like I did above to enhance your motivation/fun/to push past plateaus or ... invest in your health and fitness to keep you even more accountable.

A coach won't only help you with your goal but educate you with all the tools you need to successfully continue alone in the future.

Reminders of WHY you started your journey is also KEY 🔑

If you’re stuck in that rut then let me help you. Give me a DM and we can talk about what we can do to tackle your problems 🙌🏾

7 months completed and 14.5kg lost 🦁

This is my client who struggled with gaining the "perfect" week.

He mentioned that he had a couple of moments that threw him off track.

He got so annoyed at it that he was really put down by it all.

Felt like a failure.

"Vish, I'm the type of guy to do something and give it 100% and that just isn't be best".

I apprietiated the honesty from him (no point in lying!) but all I said was, he was being too harsh on himself!

A few months ago, that slip up wasn't a couple of slices of pizza. It was 4-5 days of takeaways with no form of exercise. It was him giving up every time he even thought of going to the gym.

In reality there was no slip ups! He still completed every session that week, every minute of cardio and got his steps, plus more! No magic behind it, just smart with his food which allowed him to lead a balanced lifestyle 👏🏾

Striving for the best is great and you should do so but sometimes we need that helping hand to put things into perspective.

We can sometimes expect too much from ourselves and that can cause us to had a moment. No need to hate ourselves for it though! ❌

Think about about far you've come, what have you learnt in your journey so far, the new habits you're building, how you feel in vour clothes etc.

If you think you've messed up, take a step back and put things into perspective. I promise you, you'll realise how far you've come. 💆🏾

If this sounds like you and you're being too harsh on yourself then send me a message and let me give you a helping hand 📩

Meet Penny 👊🏾

She’s a great example of someone who wants something, will do anything in their power to get it!

▶️ Busy with getting her Nursing degree
▶️ Working long hours including night shifts
▶️ A social life

None of these things stopped her from training unbelievably hard. Over the past several months, Penny has been coming to me for 1-1 coaching. We had daily targets, we had 3 training sessions plus 3 cardio sessions. We kept things relatively low considering she had a high activity level with her placement and job. The confidence she shows in the gym is unmatched. Scale weight was looked at week to week but something I didn’t want to focus on as her weekly check in photos showed a bigger story 👏🏾

I saw her training grow from strength to strength. 90kg deadlifts to 170kg hip thrusts. Penny worked right up until her Graduation Ball which she throughly enjoyed 🔥

Penny said the following about how she felt towards the end of her diet; “I actually feel genuinely so good with how I’m looking at the minute, not felt self conscious or anxious about how I’ve looked” 🙏🏾

These results are next level and I have no doubt that she will continue to progress her body and mind even more as the years come!

Currently have spaces for 1-1 coaching and Online. I specialise with people starting off in the gym with no confidence, to individuals who want to level up their current training. Sound like you? Give me a message and let’s get started 📩

2 years in the making and no intention with stoppjng 🚀

I don’t even remember the guy in the first picture but ‘s work ethic is unmatched in my opinion.

Every session is full of laughs but when it comes to training, he works very hard.

Ewan didn’t have any experience prior to starting with me so we had a black canvas to start building. These past 2 years has been filled with stress as he completed his dissertation and now graduated 🎉

He still turned up to every session, he still made time for himself and his physical health. There were a handful of hangover sessions but turned out to be some of his strongest sessions (I don’t recommend this) but Ewan did it 😂

He’s the perfect client to coach, works hard in the gym and has a great balance with his social life.

Consistency with increased food for these months is where we are now. Trains 3x a weeks and eats food - there’s no magic pill or magic template. Just pure hard work 👊🏾

Keep working hard my man, a pleasure to be apart of your journey 🫡

We started coaching in January and started to slowly diet Hamzah down for his big day 💍🤵🏾

It was really important that we didn’t run him into the ground or diet too much that we end up feeling rubbish on the day.

We achieved that very well and now have bigger plans for next year!

Dieting isn’t always easy, life is a big factor that we need to take into account. Hamzah is a busy guy but didn’t make excuses and was prepared to make time in order to achieve what he wanted so he did just that!

A big thank you to you, with those kind words. It’s things like this that make this job very rewarding 🏆

Hey , how’s coaching going?

“I have been training with Vish for about 10 months now. Between juggling my life being a busy working mum and working full time, I sometimes found it difficult to get the motivation and the time to fit in going to the gym.

I now have found that motivation in Vish, he's a personable character who makes training fun and different whilst still being challenging.

Despite the fact it is hard work and I ache after, I have never skipped a session or made an excuse not to exercise and I actually look forward to going, what’s more is that I’m still here and loving the new healthier and fitter me.

In a short space of time I have seen great results not only in my personal fitness but also in my body shape. I have literally lost inches ..and I've dropped a size and a half. All my friends and family are commenting on how good I look, which is a great BOOST😁

I cannot recommend Vish enough, I’m so happy, thanks for everything.”

I’ve seen Cheryl grow from strength to strength. The self confidence she has now compared to before is mind blowing. She trains hard, never makes excuses and does the hard work.

We’ve gone through a small push of food before we started dieting for her first holiday and the second one is now around the corner!

Holidays are great to work towards but Cheryl is going to take things one step further and do a photoshoot next year which will be out of this world 🚀

I have no doubt that you’ll smash everything you do so keep doing what you’re doing. Unbelievably proud of you 👊🏾

Food for thought for when you’re comparing yourself to others 💭

It’s great to look at other people’s progression and use this to get your own journey started but you need to do this for yourself.

Laziness can start to creep in after a while because we always wonder why we aren’t progressing like other people you see on insta 🤷🏾‍♂️

Reality is, these people have been training for a long time. I’ve had one client (Cheryl) dieting for a few months now. Another client (Rafey) has been dieting for 7 months (with a one month diet break).

These things didn’t happen over night but the one thing that did, they simply started 🚀

These are the THREE things I notice when people start to progress;

1️⃣
They found something they love doing for THEM. They find a new approach rather than something someone else did and hoped it worked for them. Whether that’s a new gym, new programme or better eating habits. Find what works for you 🫵🏾

2️⃣
If you want to do it then you’ll do it. If you don’t have time in your day then make time. Choose a realistic time for YOU and YOUR day. When was the last time you didn’t go to a doctors appointment or a hair appointment? Set the time and stick to it ⌚️

3️⃣
Get someone to hold you accountable. If the first 2 points are something you struggle with then grab a gym friend and ask them to help you. They’ll motivate you/push you/make things fun. Invest in yourself 🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏾

You could even get a coach. I won’t only help you get you to a goal but I’ll educate you about the mental side of life and teach you habits you can use for a lifetime 🤓

Your goal isn’t out of reach. We all start somewhere but it’s your time to decide when you take action 🫡

, the man who sets himself a goal and will get there without a shadow of a doubt 🚀

Heading into a maintence phase during Ramadan then we’re continue that diet 🙌🏾

“I reached out to Vish because I was familiar with his work. His sustainable approach to training and dieting really appealed to me. I felt that Vish would be well suited to help me build new lifestyle habits given the training and background I come from.

During my 12 / 13 weeks of online training with him I've learned how to build good habits, increased my nutrition knowledge, gained confidence and structure in my plan. Before training with him I found it very difficult to consistently train for more than 4 weeks. I always felt like binge eating and being lazy when I didn't see the results I wanted.

But with Vish he's helped me stay disciplined and focussed. I look forward to every session I do.

I feel more confident in my training abilities. My mental health has sky rocketed. I feel much more energetic and can move a lot better.”
