Meet the committee:
Social Secretary - Aaron Stirratt

Having only starting Judo last year Aaron has made leaps and bounds in his Judo journey and is now on his yellow belt. His dedication to the club and training as a fighter, in and out of sessions, has made him a valuable member of our team. His love for going out with his friends and his power to chat to anyone about anything are some of the reasons that he will be a great social.

Meet the committee:
Vice President/Secretary - Emily Rae

Emily is going into her 3rd year of studying Sport and Exercise Science at Abertay and helps to coach the judo team alongside our President. Fortunately her Judo ability is far greater than her ability to say no to a night out which makes her a great coach, team mate and player. If in doubt where Emily is, look no further than a 5 metre radius from Aimee (or Parker House reception) as they are more often than not by each other’s side. Emily’s fun and energetic personality makes her easily approachable which is why she will be great in her role.

Meet the committee:
Club President - Big Time Aimee Grant

Aimee has been with the club since it began and has played a huge part in making Abertay Judo Club successful during its first year 2018/19. Her loyalty to the judo club is almost as strong as her loyalty to a Wednesday night out where she can be found on the dance FLOOR of Aura. Aimee helps create the kind and friendly atmosphere within the club and is always there to help anyone who needs it which is why she’ll be an amazing president.
