🧠 Mental Health Awareness Month 🧠
Just a reminder to anyone who may be struggling right now…
You are not weak for having bad days.
You are not a burden for opening up.
And you do not have to go through things alone.
Life can become overwhelming at times, and too many people — especially men — suffer in silence because they feel they have to “just get on with it.” Checking in, speaking up, or asking for help is not weakness. It takes strength.
💔 Some heartbreaking statistics:
• Around 3 out of every 4 su***des in the UK are men
• Around 11–14 men lose their lives to su***de every single day in the UK
• In Scotland, men account for around 74% of su***des
• Dundee has one of the highest su***de rates in Scotland
These are not just statistics.
These are sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, mums, dads, teammates and friends.
Please reach out to someone you trust.
A friend.
A family member.
A teammate.
A colleague.
Anyone.
And if you need more support, there are people and organisations ready to listen without judgement.

Check in on your mates.
Send the message.
Make the call.
Ask twice if someone says they’re “fine.”
You never truly know what someone is carrying behind closed doors. 🖤
