SUUMER SOLSTICE GATHERING IS HAPPENING!!

20th June 6PM til close

Just to confirm the Summer Solstice Gathering at the Beach Clubhouse and out on the water is definitely going ahead. 29 registered so far. All of the forecasts are wall to wall sunshine so it's promising to be a fabulous evening. HW is 8PM as well so everything is aligned.

Should be something for all members. Join us for an evening to sail, row, swim, paddle, bring a game along... or simply chill together at the Beach Clubhouse.

Firepits and Swiss logs to provide a bit of heat and different vibe to the beach clubhouse compound. Fairy lights and tealights in the beach clubhouse.

BBQ format is bring your own main and drink for yourself and a side, salad, bread, or dessert to share. Makes for a great selection of food on the night.

BBQ will be on the go from early but ideally we'd not put out the sharing table until after 8PM when folk will be coming in off the water.

For those going out on the water there will be rib cover on the water from 6:30PM until 8-8:30ish

Need a couple of rib crews. Please volunteer for those spots and also register if you're coming down as well via link below so we've a good idea of numbers. TST and club boats are bookable via this link as well.

Also please feel free to bring down any outdoor games as well, anyone with a volleyball net for instance.

Congratulations to all participants on a closely contested race with some challenging wind conditions!

A great write-up of this weekend's regatta, including the Lawson Cup and the Kestrel Scottish Championships.

Slightly let down by the weather conditions but that didn't stop the action and some hotly contested races!

Hosted by the Royal Tay Yacht Club over the weekend 13th/14th June the fleet of 10 entries was reduced to 9 before the first race. First casualty of the forecast gale.
