Funeral arrangements for Charlie 🧡💙

MELVILLE - Peacefully at home, in Tayport, Charlie, aged 11 years, much loved son of Brian and Rachel, fun-loving brother of Jack, Freya and Finlay, cherished grandson of Neil and Sharon, and an enthusiastic football team-mate and great friend. Charlie’s family appreciate all the love and support they have received at this challenging time. The family invite all family and friends to join within Tayport Cemetery, on Thursday 26th March, at 11:00am, to say a final farewell to Charlie, thereafter to the Invercarse Hotel, Perth Road, Dundee, for a memorial service, commencing at 12:30pm. Football tops to be worn in place of funeral attire if possible. No flowers, please, but donations, in lieu, to CHAS and Young Lives vs Cancer can be made at the service in memory of Charlie.’

For the 3rd year in a row we find ourselves drawn against Fair City. A familiar game that we were hoping followed the same result as the previous two years. With both teams unbeaten this year it was always going to be a close game.

A great start gave us the lead after just 3 minutes. Kodie Usher popping up with the goal from a corner. We went on to dominate the first half and earned a few chances that could have doubled our lead but it stayed 1-0 at half time.
HT: 1-0
Unfortunately we had a very poor second half and did not play well at all. We still created some chances and worked very hard just lacked some composure to get on the ball and play the way we know we can.
