As you may know this challenge was started by the Movember charity which aims to raise awareness for mental health, su***de prevention, testicular and prostate cancer. For the second year in a row the team is looking for raise funds for this truly wonderful charity so they can continue their great work. WEEK 4

Well here we are. After four itchy weeks we are finally at the end of our journey.

Some have succeeded at growing a moustache ,while others have shown that they still haven’t gone through puberty. Some may want to still keep their face p***s ,while others have decided that it just isn’t worth all the fuss.

At the end of the day it doesn’t really matter how many hair follicles there were or whether we even looked good(we did though). What matters is the cause and the generous level of support we received from our friends and family.

DUMS FC is extremely proud to say that we were able to raise £615,tripling the amount of money we had hoped for. Thank you so much to all those who donated. We will be sending the money to the charity tomorrow so if you would still like to support us before this please do!!!

A big thank you to Dundee University Medics FC who played the men's team last weekend in a friendly, while touring Riga all the way from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 The game ended 4-4 in high spirits despite playing out in negative temperatures. Hope you enjoyed Riga, and see you again!

Another season comes to an end. A couple of tough games went against us in the final stages of the season, making it difficult to compete. Nonetheless, a solid 2nd place finish in the league and a great season from all the boys.

Everyone is off now for the summer and we look forward to signing some new players in September. Thanks everyone for your support and Campbeltown Bar for supporting us throughout the season

DUMS FC 4 - 0 Dryburgh CC
Ben Callaghan (7', 66'), Cris Watson (23'), Scott Miller (30')

Its always testing as we near this stage of the season, as we lose the majority of players to exams/summer vacation. Nonetheless, the boys showed great heart and character to grind out a win in tough conditions and prove why we're second in the league. Credit to Dryburgh for battling throughout and keeping it close.

Special mention to young Chris Watson, who was nominated for the DSMFL Premier Division POTY Shortlist for his performances this season.

DUMS FC 2 - 2 DC Athletic
Marc Price (52'), Fraser Prentice (84')

2-2 draw in tough conditions versus longtime rivals DC-Athletic Football-Club. Battling performance from the boys and unlucky not to get 3 points. Still in second position in the league as the season comes to a close.

Despite them clearly playing a lesser sport we wish our friends over at DUMS Rugby the best of luck today in their big final. There will be buses leaving from the union at 1 and 1:30 that will take anyone who wants to support the team to the venue in Broughty Ferry. At the game there will be a clubhouse with a bar and snacks. Bring it home boys

DUMS FC 2 - 2 Riverside CSC

Disappointing result for DUMS, who were hoping for a win to propel them to within 1 point of the top. Still a little rusty after a long winter break. Back and forth game but ultimately a fair result against decent opposition. A point still leaves us in title contention. Roll on Prague next week

This Saturday DUMS FC face Riverside CSC in the Dundee Saturday Morning Football League at DISC 3G pitch. Kick off is 11:30am. Huge game for us because if we win it will put us in a great position to be league contenders being 1 point behind the leaders with a game in hand.
