Massive congratulations to our boy Hoppy, The Premier League Player of the Year.
3rd year in a row we have picked up the League Player of the Year 💚

Last game of the season and we only have 12 boys and a few nursing injuries but kit up and are ready to play. Big Finn makes it 13 after finishing his work.
First half we have a ton of the ball in the middle of the park and on the right hand side but are not great in the final third.
Stobie haven’t had a single chance when we clear a corner, we are slow to get out, the ball comes back in and the Stobie striker is the only one to go for it and we are 1 down.

Into 2nd half and we don’t look great, Tayhler has a good save but we go 2 down when a long free kick somehow ends up in the goal.

In a game when we hardly make a challenge never mind a foul we end up with half the team booked and 2 sent off.

Not good enough at all and Stobie become the 4th team from the Morning League to beat us this season

Been a funny old season.
Only 1 defeat in first 13 games, 11 wins.
Then a horrid 4 defeats in 5
Then 1 defeat in 12, including 9 wins against very good teams on the bounce.
Going in to the end of April we were still in the hunt for 3 trophies but a bad one v Monifieth and a horrible draw v Cairdy absolutely killed us.
Managed to win a cup final but couldn’t get it done In the league and tbh didn’t finish the season well.

Over the whole season you can’t fault the boys, they were absolutely brilliant at times. We are very proud of them and they should be proud of themselves.

After a number of corners and long throws we concede a header 5 minutes before HT.
We are dealing with a lot of balls into the box, we block a United shot in the box and as we have done all season, we break with pace, Finlay T ghosts past his man and is brought down in the box, Hoppy tucks the penalty away.
We have another coupe of chances but United are having opportunities as well and come close, but we look like we might win it at the end when we break but Dylan can’t get his shot away and it ends up 1-1.

Was a total battle from start to finish, never really got any periods of passing and continued pressure but had to dig in for a lot of the game. We rode our luck at times but equally could have sneaked it on the break.

We get off to a decent start and take the lead when the goal machine Calum Rae hits a 30 yarder into the roof of the net.
Dryburgh have their first corner and the striker curls it straight into the goal.
We get back in front when Hoppy replicates his free kick from last week and puts it straight in the top corner.
We have another few chances but can’t take them and it’s 2-1 at HT
We are very slow out the blocks but when a ball falls perfectly for Sam, he strikes in our 3rd 30 yarder of the game.
That should be the cushion we need but we then we proceed to give up a really soft goal and it’s game on again.
We are a bit ragged and a flicked header from Dryburgh is cleared off the line. We have a couple of chances again but are not making the keeper work and it’s a nervy finish to the game.
We win a few headers in our own box and it sees us over the line.
Not a great performance at all, but we just do enough for the win with 3 cracking goals.

Absolutely has to be better in the last 2 games.
