While it wasn't a good year for diving, it was our first year as a club! We decided to create our own dive club in March and though it was certainly a challenge, it was totally worth it!
Founding the club just after lockdown began gave us time to assemble a collection of shared kit and be fully prepared to get everyone in the water once restrictions eased up! Because of our lockdown game plan, we managed to get out and go diving multiple times during the pandemic, while maintaining the utmost safety standards and precautions.
This year has been hard for many reasons, and we're not out of the (kelp!) forest yet, but we’re all immensely proud of what we have achieved together and look forward to going diving again when it's allowed. We’ll be ready in 2021 to continue delivering safe and exciting underwater opportunities for all those who are interested!
