Hi - please note that the Dunbar Junior Badminton Club will not be open this week (16th September) as the school requires the sports hall for a parents evening. We will be open as usual next week.

Dunbar Junior Badminton Club will restart for the 2025-2026 season on Tuesday 2nd September 2025.
There will be 3 separate sessions:
Primary P4-P6 (6-7pm),
Primary P7 & Secondary S1-S2 (7-8pm)
and Secondary S3-S6 (8-9pm) on Tuesday evenings from that date until the end of March 2026.

NOTE THAT DETAILS OF CLUBNIGHTS WILL SOON BE BE VIEWED ON OUR WEBSITE, AND MAY CHANGE FROM TIME TO TIME DUE TO HOLIDAYS, EXAMS & SCHOOL FUNCTIONS.

Fees will remain the same as last season, ie will just consist of a flat Membership Fee of £10 for the September-December period, followed by a further Membership Fee of £10 for the January-March period. The fees for the second session may be subject to review if the hall charges are increased during the season.

ALL ATTENDEES (OR PARENTS) WILL NEED TO COMPLETE A MEMBERSHIP FORM FOR EACH CHILD FOR THE NEW SEASON. Paper copies will be available at the Club, but the form can be
downloaded, completed and e-mailed via our website (there is a link at the bottom left hand corner. We are required to do this each season to ensure that we have up-to-date information.
Both Form and first £10 Membership fee should be completed/paid as soon as possible on first attendance, and certainly by the end of October. Fees may be paid either in cash at the Club, or by Direct
Bank Transfer (BACS) online,

The adult & junior Badminton Clubs will be promoting the
"Try Something New This Dunbar Civic Week" at Hallhill Sports Centre on Thursday 19th June between 6:00 and 8:00 pm on the 2G artificial grass pitch!

Yes - we will have an outdoor badminton court set up with special outdoor shuttles for anyone that fancies giving badminton a go. Come along and try - bring a friend or 2 - bring the kids. There will be other sports activities on offer as well - tennis, rugby, hockey and possibly archery as well.

Hi - just a heads up that we are going to switch times for the P7 kids badminton at the Grammar School from 6 to 7 pm to 7 to 8 pm. So for the future:

P4, P5 and P6 will be from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

P7's, S1 and S2 will be from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm

S3 to S6 pupils from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm

This should help balance out the attendance rates per hour.

DUNBAR JUNIOR BADMINTON CLUB
Our new season is due to begin on Tuesday September 3rd. There have been a couple of minor changes to some of the times children can attend to match expected numbers and ages - see below - we now offer places as follows:

P4 & P5 between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm on 2 courts
P6 and P7's between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm on 2 courts

S1 and S2 students between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm on 4 courts

S3 and older students between 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm on 4 courts

All attendees (or parents) will need to complete a Membership Form for each child for the new season.
Paper copies will be available at the Club, but the form can be downloaded, completed and e-mailed via our website - which you can search for on google
