What is a sports massage...

SM is the manipulation of the body's soft tissues through various means like effleurage, petrissage, deep tissue frictions and stretching. Found benefits may include:

Time for a catch-up...

This last 2 months have been quite hectic down at the gym - some of you will know I was finishing up with my second dissertation and classroom based lessons for the physio degree! Massages proved to be a welcome distraction 😁

All that remains for my course are 2x 8-week placements in Dumfries and with any luck, that'll be that. Do not fret though! Sports massage and taping are still available so DM for more info (questions welcome)...

Time for some introductions...

📍Per4m S&C Gym, Dumfries is where you'll find the team

💪 Now qualified in Level 4 Sports Massage as well as Taping & Strapping courses conducted earlier this year

⛳️ I'm currently working towards my Masters is Physiotherapy at ENU with my undergrad done in Sports and Management. Despite taking some time off recently - there's a golfer in there somewhere and I'm now partial to shin splints too :/
