Attitude Dance Group Street Dance classes for children and young adults, learning styles in hip hop and commercial dance.

Attitude Dance Group was founded in 2009 by qualified street dance teacher Ashley Wells ADPA. Attitude offers Street Dance classes for all age groups from 3 years to young adults. Since 2009, Attitude Dance Group has grown in numbers and opened its very own dance studio earlier this year, Attitude’s new urban feel dance studio is located in Dumfries near the town centre at 6 Catherine Street. The

studio has been refurbished to create an urban street vibe with a large dance studio designed to help students learn in a safe environment and includes a reception area for parents and visitors. The studio, which is central to the town but away from the main thoroughfare, brings to Dumfries an opportunity for youngsters in the area to learn the latest street dance moves in their own Attitude Studio. Our classes are a great chance to experience street dance either for the first time or as a way of developing individual dance skills. Our classes are energetic and a great way to have fun and get fit whilst learning all the latest street dance moves. We help our students to develop rhythm, co-ordination and confidence so that they are able to practise at home and put their own ‘Attitude’ into the moves. We aim to encourage the students to express themselves through our freestyle sessions. If you enjoy dancing to the likes of Chris Brown, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Michael Jackson and other popular artists, then come along and join in one of our classes.

Just home from another fantastic show at the theatre royal. 🎭
This time it was Attitude students Blake Hatfield and Emily Niven that were giving it their all in ‘Disney’s Dare to Dream Jr’ show. Blake had the biggest smile on the stage the whole way through- it was infectious, to see her beaming from ear to ear and giving it her all I couldn’t be more proud of her.
🎤 Emily sang one of the hardest songs ‘Let it Go’ with ease, her beautiful performance left me with a tear in my eye. So very proud of you both. All the other performers on the stage were fantastic- such talented young people we have in Dumfries. Well done everyone!

A massive well done to these 4 superstars. Attitude Dance Group Students Lexi Jackson, Lexi Dunlop, Tori Hatfield and Annabel Hart.
I went along to watch the girls in M&N productions Legally Blonde the musical show last night at the Theatre Royal. I was blown away by the girls onstage. Their confidence and stage presence was unreal. 👏🏻
🎭 Lexi Jackson was playing the lead Elle Woods and I just couldn’t help but smile the whole way through- Lexi has been a student at Attitude for 10 years and seeing her do her thing and pursue her passion of Musical Theatre was a joy to watch, and to hear her beautiful voice. That shy little girl that walked into the studio 10 yrs ago is now bossing it as a leading lady. 🎭
⭐️ Dance Captains Lexi, Tori and Annabel were so in sync and held their own.
So proud of you girls for pushing yourselves and working so hard⭐️
Well done Nadine- a fantastic production yet again.
