Open to P1–P7 pupils – whether you already play rugby or are completely new to the game!

ANYONE ELSE MISS THE BELTIE?!! WE DO!!!

This time last Saturday we had over 1700 people dancing away at Park Farm to incredible music, eating awesome food and drinking lots of local beverages having the BEST TIME EVER!!!

we want to thank everyone who made it an incredible day, and thank all the bands, caterers, businesses and local volunteers who made it happen!

Same again next year please 🙌

NEW SIGNING 🔴⚪️⚫️🔴⚪️⚫️🔴…… (of awesome local volunteer and player?! 😜🤣)

We are delighted to be shouting out about Mr Martin (as he’s known to his pupils at St Joseph’s College) on our socials.

Morgan is a dedicated rugby coach for the school , and created countless opportunities for his pupils to play this sport, applied for funding, designed kit, and leads by example at tartan touch along side all of our rugby loving participants.

The work you put in at St Joseph’s college is seen by many, and we are glad you enjoyed running around last night. Surely all that’s left is to start playing for us to?!?

Thanks Morgan for all you do for rugby in school and beyond.

Ps… if your a student of St Joseph’s College, please remind Mr Martin that training for pre season resumes in July on Tuesdays and Thursdays 🙌

THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!

No one deserves this more, massive congratulations to Gregor, who is yet another former Saint being given the chance to pull on the national shirt.

From micros to Glasgow Warriors and now to the national Scotland squad is phenomenal but it all happened due to his continued hard work, dedication and passion for the support (not to mention support from his family at home and at Saints!)

The entire club is behind you Gregor, go do your thing!!!!!

A BIG BELTIE THANK YOU 🔴⚫️⚪️

The Beltie Beer Festival is AMAZING, because of the bands 🎶, because of the beer 🍻, because of the street vendors 🍕🍰🧁, because of the Scottish Sunshine and BECAUSE OF YOU!! 😎.

It’s a fantastic, much anticipated annual event that plays a big part in the fundraising efforts for Dumfries Saints Rugby activity for the season that follows.

Every jug of pimms and every pint contributes to our player oppportunities so thankyou to EVERYONE who turned up and enjoyed their day ❤️🙌.

A MASSIVE THANK YOU needs to be given to the Beltie team who pull all this off every year, and it can’t be underestimated how much work goes in to making this all happen. From sorting bands, contacting vendors, stall sponsors, finding volunteers, setting up and tidying up, it takes an army…. And a hard working one at that!

So THANKYOU to every volunteer and staff member who made this happen. You are apart of the Saints Success ❤️🔴⚪️⚫️

At St Joseph's College Dumfries smashing it on the field again!!!

So much rugby happening in our schools, it’s fantastic to see…. Next year is just going to get bigger and better with more young people experiencing this awesome game 🏉💪

Last week the S1/2 boys rugby squad welcomed NWCC to College Field. A fantastic morning's rugby was played in the heat with St Joseph's coming away with a strong win. It was a strong team performance, with player of the match going to Elias for this thundering attacking runs and special mention to defender of the match Mohammad, who was relentless in defence throughout. Well done to all!

SAINTS YOUTH TO U20’s SCOTLAND CAP 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🔴⚪️⚫️

We are delighted to celebrate that Alex Bryden , a former Saints player will be starting for Scotland U20’s tomorrow v Ireland at Boroughmuir RFC , KO 3.30pm.

He has grafted, earned this shirt and will give it everything he has, as he always has, wearing this much coveted Scotland shirt.

An incredible achievement Alex, the whole club is behind you!!
