Evening all darters 🎯 ,

We would once again like to thank you all for allowing us the opportunity to run the league. In order to do so efficiently and effectively we would like to update the information regarding the meeting proposed for Monday 24th August 2026 at the Pleuchies (6pm).

This meeting would be to introduce ourselves to anyone who isn’t familiar with us within the darting community and to put names to faces. We would also be aiming to discuss a pre league agenda consisting of the following :-

1. Start date which will therefore determine when we need confirmed team entries in for.

2. How much fees will be for the year.

3. Confirm which comps we will be holding including reintroduction of consolation comps

4. Sponsorship opportunities/trophies payouts

5. 1/2 leagues or a split based on entry levels

6. AOB ie 12 man teams instead of 10

The agreed format was a 6 man team consisting of 2 triples, 3 drawn pairs, 6 singles followed by team game. 10 registered players and 8pm start still although could agree earlier between the two captains (7:30pm)

For this to be successful we would once again like to invite and encourage anyone who has or is considering becoming a team captain, any former committee members and anyone who would like to support Dumfries darts going forward.

Meeting info

All members of the Committee and Captains or a representative from each team is invited to attend a meeting to discuss a few things ahead of getting the league ready to start.

Meeting will be held at 6pm on Monday 24th August at Pleuchies

We will require names and numbers of each captain too on the night

Dumfries darts AGM is on Monday night. Starting promptly at 7pm where we will be doing the trophy presentation and then onto the AGM. Can all this season winners and runners up please attend
