Eating a healthy, balanced dietΒ doesn’t have to be complicated. Try & focus on consuming a wide varietyΒ of foods in the right proportions for you.

Baring in mind that every individual person is different & for some people, sticking to a traditional β€˜well balanced’ diet structure might not work.

For me, the points below are important for me. Keep it simple to allow for consistency.

πŸ₯¦ Eat at least 5 portions of a variety of fruit & vegetables every day. Easy right?

πŸ₯” Build your meals around higher fibre, starchy foods like potatoes, bread, rice or pasta. Everyone loves these.

πŸ₯› Make sure to have some dairy (dairy alternatives) which are crucial for building & maintaining strong bones.

πŸ₯© An important one: Protein! You can get this from pulses, fish, eggs & meat etc.

πŸ₯‘ Healthy high-fat foods such as avocado, nuts/seeds, dark choc!

Remember: nutrition is SUCH a mind field & you should always be careful what advice you follow, if not from a professional nutritionist. I absolutely love learning about nutrition & find it fascinating, but please note that’s it not a one size fits all.

As of April this year my coaching services will be going completely online, as my online coaching has begun to grow more & more.

I have some really exciting opportunities on the horizon regarding my online coaching & I’m excited to focus on that side of things & take a step back from super early starts for a while.

However for now, I want to offers some new deals to my clients old & new for anyone that would like to get in the gym for a few sessions with me before that time.

Whether you are a complete beginner looking to gain some confidence in your technique or you are looking to purchase a smaller block of sessions to give you a kickstart back into training, I’m more than happy to accommodate. All of my clients come to me for different reasons & I’m more than happy to create a personalised package for you & your needs.

I currently have a such great team of girls and guys working with me & together they have created such a kind, non judgmental space for anyone to join.

I’m not going anywhere for a while & I’m more than confident that so much can happen in the space of a few weeks. The changes I have seen mentally & physically in some of my team members recently allows me to remember why I started this job in the first place.

As Christmas approaches, always remember;

β€’ You don’t always have to be on a health & fitness journey. It’s not a negative to not think about it for some time.

β€’ Change your expectations & allow room for enjoyment.

β€’ Eat well when/if you can/want & never feel guilty for sharing family traditions.

β€’ Keep moving as much as possible.
