Our wonderful coaches have a special thank‑you message for all our skaters who worked so hard this season. Every early morning, every practice, every wobble, every breakthrough — it all added up to something truly special.

You demonstrated determination, courage, and heart every time you stepped onto the ice, and we couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of you.

Well done to you all. Here’s to the memories we’ve made and the exciting new season ahead. Keep shining, skaters — you’ve earned it. ⛸️🤩

🎉 HUGE congratulations to all of our amazing skaters who took their tests last Friday 👏🏻⛸️

After a tremendous 27 tests, ranging from Levels 1 all the way up to 8, we are so proud to share that you collectively achieved an incredible 💯 100% PASS RATE! 💯 🙌🏻

So much hard work, dedication, and determination has gone into preparing for these tests. Well done to all skaters for their achievements.🌟

Also, big thanks to our incredible coaches. 🙌 Without your support, encouragement and positivity, this wouldn't be possible. ❤️

We’re raising money for a skating harness to help our skaters learn new skills safely — and you can be part of it!

How to get involved:

• Donate an Easter egg + £5
• You’ll be entered into a prize draw to win money back!

Where your donation goes:

• 🐣 Easter eggs will be gifted to young carers in Dumfries and Galloway
• 💰 Funds will help us buy the skating harness
• 🎁 Prize draw: 25% goes to the winner, 75% supports the club

A huge congratulations to both Solway Lightning and Solway Eclipse for two fantastic performances at the British Championships at the Steel City Trophy 🤍

First up were Solway Lightning, who delivered an energetic and joyful Lilo & Stitch routine. They earned an incredible season’s personal best score of 42.12 — an improvement of over 6 points from the BIS Cup in Nottingham. This is a huge achievement for the team and we couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and progress.⚡️

Next to take the ice were Solway Eclipse with their sassy rock programme. They scored a fantastic 54.40, rocking the rink with amazing energy, confident facials, and clear improvements across their elements. We are so proud of everything this team has achieved.🌙

David, Stacey and Natalya, thank you for all you do for our skaters. You continue to inspire them to be the best version of themselves through your unwavering positivity. ❤️

Also a huge thanks to our volunteers and parents. Without you on board, these opportunities wouldn't be possible for our skaters.

Now it’s time to head home, reflect on a brilliant competition, and start preparing for the 2026/27 season. 🤩

This time, Solway Lightning and Solway Eclipse are off to The British Synchronised Skating Championships and Steel City Trophy, in Sheffield. ⛸️💙 ⚡🌙

This will be the last competition of the season for our skating teams. They are ready to showcase their fabulous routines once more, and we’d love your support from home!
