A few more successes during our recent Yushinkan dojo grading. Well done to Stephen, James and Fiona (Newton Mearns) Derek and Shenjia (Dumbarton) - well deserved. Yushinkan iaido dojo graders (Dumbarton and Newton Mearns dojo) did well at the weekend Scottish iaido seminar 2026. Shodan for Declan and Adrian and ikkyu for Ethan. Today was our last Sunday before the summer break we did some kodachi, Tachi Uchi no Kurai, Kenjutsu and Tameshigiri. A good effort by everyone, especially by our two new students Ross and James We held a Tameshigiri competition and the following received Gold Jamie, Silver Declan and the bronze went to Ross. We restart in August.
