25 clyde valley gymnasts competed at the championships and an impressive 14 were in medal positions with 11 Scottish Champions 🏆 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Weekend full of competitons!

Friday leo stated it off with attending home nations competition and now onto Saturday.

We had 50 gymnasts from our skills classes compete in our in house skills competition!

You were all amazing and all of your hard work really paid off🤩!

Your coaches are all so proud of you all! So many of the gymnasts first time competing and they all managed to take part and show their amazing talents.

Well done to all of the medalists from Saturdays competition! You were amazing 👏🏻 💚🖤💚

Leo Neeson

Through his selection onto Scotland’s PPP squad 2026 at the beginning of the year, Leo was selected to represent Scotland to compete at the Home Nations Championships which took place in Telford this weekend!

Leo competed within the junior tumbling category and went onto produce 2 fantastic runs achieving 6th place.
Leo’s scores combined with 4 other of his fellow teammates scores resulted in team Scotland placing 1st within the 13-16yrs Mixed team category! Massive well done to you all!! Go team Scotland!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💙

All your coaches and teammates are all so incredibly proud of you Leo!!

✨🤸‍♀️WDC schools gymnastics competition!🤸‍♀️✨

Massive well done to all gymnasts and their schools who competed within the West Dumbartonshire schools gymnastics competition yesterday!

17 of our gymnasts participated within their schools, competing in all 3 events (Floor, Vault and Tumble) from novice to elite level! Special mention to Rosie and Eilidh as they both obtained the trophy for achieving the highest ex*****on scores across an event. Rosie for tumble and Eilidh for vault!

Also a massive congratulations to all gymnasts from Dumbarton Academy as they achieved the highest combined overall score!! 🩵✨

A group of our Gymnasts and parents are taking on the kilt walk this year to raise runds to help them with their expense of attending the world gymnestrada 2027 in portugal. Any donations will help a lot and go a long way.
