This Saturday saw a windy but nice day for our divers.
Lots of training in progress, both in and out of the water with Ocean diver training below, and Sports Diver training covering dive manager skills on the surface. Conditions underwater remain good.

Last weekend Dudley Nautilus had a productive morning. A clean up of our home water. This included underwater litter pick, and a litter pick around the shore using a Kayak.
Also some maintenance of the ropes in the Rezza, cleaning up the freshwater mussels from the water ski line, and replacing damaged buoys to keep it all in place.
On top of that, some guest divers joined us too.

PIRATE FESTIVAL !!!
Last weekend Dudley Nautilus visited the lovely town of Brixham for the annual Pirate Festival. This event is always a great time! The whole town gets into the pirate spirit, as did our members, dressing for the occasion.
We also had a dive along the breakwater. Underwater visibility wasn’t the best, but still plenty of life to be found. Crabs, lobsters, Octopus, Cuttlefish.
A very successful club trip!

Lots of training going on here at Duley Nautilus, both in, and out of the water.
Last week we had a group training session for BSAC Oxygen Administration Course in our training room at the Rezza.
12 students, and 4 instructors passing on their knowledge. Debbie, Carl, Phil, and Kez.
We are lucky to have a collection of great instructors her at Nautilus!
Students ranged from Sports divers, to Dive leaders in training, and above.
The more of our members that have this knowledge, the safer the diving environment is.

Thursday evening saw another successful Nautilus dusk dive and social.
Fabulous weather with some atmospheric evening sunshine setting over the Rezza. Plenty of divers in the water, and members helping with surface support, DM duties, and air fills.
As the divers came out, the Polish themed food by Chris and Aneta was served, and it was gorgeous!
The bar was open with pornstar martinis on offer, and a great time had by all.
Yet another great event made possible by all our wonderful members!

Its starting to feel like spring is in the air at the Rezza, the sun keeps coming through, even if it is between showers. The birds are singing, and the aquatic life is starting to come out to play.
This weekend there seemed to be a noticeable increase in the fish sightings, with several pike, and shoals of Perch, and an eel. Even the water is warming up a little with 9 deg at the surface, but still 5 deg at the bottom at 14m, with decent visibility too. This week we also had 6 visitors to the Rezza, and training going on. Busy Saturday as always.

This weekend there seemed to be a bit more activity on the fish life in the Rezza, it seems Spring is waking up the underwtaer world too :-)
