Our last ever game as a team yesterday 😢 The lads put a performance in and played some top level football. It’s been an absolute pleasure to see these lads grow in to such fantastic footballers. The lads and parents have made friendships that will last a lifetime. Big thanks to Matt and Miller for guiding the boys through this season, you have been fantastic and the boys all think you are great ⚽️💛💚💙

Gornal V Chaddesley Ravens

Lovely sunny mornings are back and the game was hot from the off. Both teams playing the right way and creating chances. Archie grabbed our first goal, he was always looking lively up front. Our second scored by Noah after following up well from Tobys well saved shot. It was a very high tempo game with 2 good sides going at it. Special well done to Ollie for stepping up in goal for us.

After a 13 week trial our long serving keeper Greeny has been signed by West Bromwich Albion. We are all so proud of Jack and wish him the best in his new adventure. Anyone who has ever seen Jack play will know he is a great keeper, who works hard and is very dedicated. But more importantly he is a great kid who we will miss having around, along with his his family who have been and always will be a big part of our Gornal family. Go smash it Greeny! 🔥 💛💚💙⚽️

Away @ Bilbrook Wolfies

Last minute pitch inspection and quick turn around did not seem to affect the lads this morning. From the off they were on it and the first 15 minutes were unstoppable. 3 goals within this time set us on our way. Archie found the net a quick fire brace to start our scoring off. Quick feet and interchanging football were key to both goals. Our 3rd was Henry who guided a quality cross from the left in to the net. Gornal looked a threat throughout the game and nobody could have argued if more goals followed. Our final goal was scored by Noah with a quality long range effort. Special mention to stand in keepers again Thomas and Toby.

MOTM - Henry, all over the pitch today in tough conditions. A quality consistent performance topped off by a good goal. Top team performance and all the lads look as if they are enjoying this run of games. 💛💚💙

We returned back to Beacon Hill to take on Trysull Tigers today. A solid performance from all the team made for a great spectacle. First goal was assisted by Archie and Noah slotted home. Closely followed by his second of the game after recovering the ball and a good finish.

Second half the boys continued as they had started with high intensity. An assist this time for Noah finding GG in the middle who finished as top corner as you can get. GG then added another with a well worked team goal. Bottom right corner was his choice this time. Our scoring was wrapped up by Noah who completed his hat trick and an all round great team display. Again massive appreciation for the make shift keepers GG and Freddie, both great in and out of goal.

Today’s game against Forest Falcons was very competitive throughout. First half saw us play our better football and creating good chances. Our goal come within the half after a move down the left side, GG followed in a well saved effort. Second half saw a different style of football dealing with the slope. The defence stood strong and played some good football from the back. Massive shout out to Dawson and Noah who took on GK duties and did a great job.

Had a great first half in goal and even better second half in defence. Strong commanding display and his passing range helped turn defence in to attack. 💛💚💙

The lads played some of their best football of the season today. Creating multiple chances and throughout the game looked dangerous. It was a pleasure to watch them move the ball and players work hard for each other. Our goal today scored by Thomas, who followed up GG’s effort from outside the box. Big thanks to City Juniors who more than played their part in an entertaining game. Think their keeper may of taken their MOTM.
