Racketworld' was launched by myself (Mick) in May 2004 with help from my daughter Jo who is now one of the full-time employees of the company. Our expertise in this racket trade stretch back to 1991 at which point I was a representative for the great UK racket company of Dunlop / Slazenger / Carlton international. The experience gained during those years working for such a company was a great asse

t in creating Racketworld and our main aim is to provide high quality, top branded goods and excellent quality slightly lesser known brands at the best price available on the Internet anywhere across the world. We are asked many times about rackets being counterfeit because it's true to say that brands such as Wilson, Yonex and Babolat in particular do seem to be suffering with copy rackets being imported from China. We also now offer a full racket re-stringing service on site and can usually do a re-string within a few hours for you if required, this is available by personal call at our retail shop or by posting the racket back to us.

First impressions of the Vertex 05 GEO 👇

For a head-heavy racket, it felt surprisingly light and easy to manoeuvre. From the first few points it’ll feel comfortable and controlled.

At the net, generating spin on volleys is easy, while from the baseline you can confidently hit through the ball without feeling like you’re overhitting.

It’s not a racket that gives you easy power, but when you connect cleanly, it definitely packs a punch. If your overheads are strong, you’ll be able to spin it out of the court with ease.

Would recommend this to players of any level! If you’re a beginner, it’s versatile and easy to use, your game will grow well with this racket. Equally, more advanced players will appreciate the control and spin it offers.

A really nice balance of control, spin, and attack. ⚡
