Here is a picture of our Secretary presenting the winners trophy to Tom for winning the Christmas shoot on 30th December, we'll done and keep it up, very proud of our junior shooter.

Many thanks for all the folks that have made our 2nd Christmas Shoot.
Over 27 attended but not all shot, some just came to support their relatives who shot.
I also want to thank all that helped at the club Steve Gough, Brandon Cooper Alan Boxley Lydia Morgan-Powell and Nicola Derrer-Rendall, who held down the range, guiding our guests who had never shot before, with one to one tuition. Finally many thanks to Janet Gough who cooked for everyone and kept them fed and watered.
I can say it was our most attended Christmas guest day and one with the most left handed shooters we have ever had, I think everyone had a great time and we only over ran by about an hour.

Round 3 scores are in and we are halfway through the 25 spot challenge.
Division 1 leader is Dave Fletcher with 20 points and Keith Arnold in 2nd place with 17 points.
Division 2 leader is Yvonne Cooper with 20 points closely follwed by Nigel Gibson with 19 points.
Division 3 leader Robert Harper with 21 points with Nicola Derrer-Rendall close on his heels with 19 points.

We just need three more juniors for our 2025 squad.
Anyone between 11 and 18 may apply, able or disabled, boy or girl.
We are running the NSRA Youth Proficiency Course for juniors. Come and learn to shoot safely and accurately and obtain your NSRA Qualification, win a medal, or even a shield or cup.

We are still.looking for boys and girls for our junior section.
If you know of any between 11 and 18, able bodied or disabled please get in touch.
The Youth Proficiency Course will start the third Tuesday in September.
This will be air rifle shooting at 10M, and once the course has been passed we take the juniors on to .22 rimfire at 25yds.

Maddie had a Shoot last night and shot 100 3x, Nicola Derrer-Rendall and Tom also had a Shoot, both did well, with Nic Shooting her June card scoring 248 9x, well done.
