Well what can I say today has certainly been a roller coaster of emotions from the Weather this Morning looking like it wouldn't be on our side 🌧 to the feeling of Huge gratitude at all the Amazing people that helped make today possible 🙏

So I would like to say some Massive Thank you's 🙏 to all the Fantastic people who gave the Children such a unforgettable experience today and made my vision to Celebrate the 25 Years of the Ezone at Roberts Primary School a reality!

Ruth of Fruits of The Forest 🙏 for taking care of the Campfire 🔥 and making Yummy Smores ❤

Danny English 🙏 for the absolutely Fascinating Storytelling it was Wonderful to see the Children so engrossed in your Stories you are so inspirational ❤

Becky of Wildflower Forest School 🙏 for the Fabulous Crafts that the Children were making Bees 🐝 and Butterflies 🦋 They were so pretty 😍 ❤

Paul and his other Volunteers from Friends of Wrens Nest National Nature Reserve 🙏 for teaching the Children about our "Dudley Bug" and other Fossils they can find locally as well as all the types of Wildlife was really interesting 😊❤

Henry from Flat Pack Forest School 🙏 for teaching the Children how to make Nettle Cordage and we even had a few as a snack to show how full of goodness things we find outside in Nature are 🌱❤

Tina from Art Space Dudley 🙏 for her Magnificent Specially Commissioned Art Work that will now proudly hang in the School for years to come ❤

Emily from Magic Memories Events and Entertainment 🙏 for the Beautiful Face Painting for the Children they loved it 😊❤

Huge Thank you to Mr Watkins 🙏 for having the faith in me and letting me put this Event together.

Paul 🙏 for helping get the Ezone looking it's best for all it's visitors today he has worked really hard this week to make sure it was on top form 😊

Thank you 🙏 to all the Staff and Governors that joined us today to celebrate

Massive Thank you to the Mayor and Mayoress 🙏 for joining us and getting stuck in with Smores and helping to plant the Magnolia Tree 😊 🌳 Was so lovely to see you both

You are one of the Main reasons I trained to be a Forest School Leader and are truly my inspiration. I hope I have done you proud with the Ezone and you enjoyed today and one day I can be as good as you ❤

My Heart is full of Love ❤ I have laughed 🤣 cried 😭 but I am so lucky I got to spend today with wonderful people who fully understand and embrace the need for Children to be outside in Nature and how much they can learn from it 🌱

From the bottom of my Heart ❤ Thank you to each and every one of you that made today possible.........Here's to the next 25 Years 🥂

And here they are...................🤗

This year the Children in Reception at Roberts Primary School will be hatching Quail 🥚

They went into the Incubators yesterday so all being well 🤞 we should have some Baby Quail Chicks 🐥 in just under 3 weeks

So exciting can't wait to see the Children's faces when they go in today and see the Eggs ☺️

Would like to say a Massive Thank you to Ami from Hawbush Community Gardens 🙏 for the Donation of Pots and Pans for our Mud Kitchen at Red Hall Primary School they were a very welcome addition today and the Children loved them

You can never have enough Pots and Pans when there is Mud Cake 🎂 to be made 🤣

As some of you may remember last year the Reception Classes at Roberts Primary School Hatched some Chicken Eggs 🥚 The Children waited patiently for them to Hatch out of the Eggs, Watched them Grow 🐥 and then Mr Watkins very kindly said we could keep some of them for the School so they came to live with me at Jasmine Road Community Gardens until they were old enough to come back to the School. Mr Edwards built them a Beautiful Chicken Run which he worked really hard on last Summer and they even have a Log Cabin to sleep in 🤣

It has been almost a Year now and we have 5 Chickens at School who are producing lots of Eggs 🥚 and are Fantastic for the Children to watch and interact with as they are Super Friendly and love a Cuddle as they are used to being handled from when they were very little 🐥.

The other 5 Girls have stayed with us at the Gardens and now have a Friend called Rodney 🐓 to keep them company.

This is a Fabulous Experience for the Children to experience how New life develops and Grows into a Living Creature.

This Year we are not doing Chicken Eggs we are having something a little different..........😉

A couple of weeks ago I was very Proud 😊 to be Nominated as one of the 10 Wildlife Champions by Dudley Zoo as part of their Festival of Change and this meant we have our Photos up on the Wall by the Flamingo Enclosure so if you are going to the Zoo over the Summer have a look out for the Photo of Me and one of our Ferrets 🤣

On a serious note though Thank you so much 🙏 to the Zoo for the Award it is so nice to feel appreciated for what I do both getting the Children Outdoors in Nature at Forest School and also the work we do with our Animals and Protecting the Wildlife at Jasmine Road Community Gardens ❤

We would like to introduce the latest additions to the Wild Things Nature School Family our Girls Henrietta, Nellie, Beatrice, and Gladys not of course forgetting our Beautiful Boy Gary De Snake ( From Zootropolis 2 🤣 - My little Wild Thing named him)
