💜💙 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨 – 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭 𝐁𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐲 💙💜

Some people join a football club. Matt Boseley was practically raised at one.

From a small child causing havoc home and away, to representing every team at the club, Matt's story is woven into the fabric of Harrow Hill.

Rumour has it he was conceived at the club. Nobody has ever managed to prove it, but it would explain a lot. 😂

He's played, managed, and taken on just about every role going. Plumbing, maintenance, gardening, repairs, improvements... if something needs doing, chances are Bose is already halfway through it before anyone else has noticed.

There aren't many days when Matt isn't up at the club doing something, especially since securing his dream home on the Hill. He even ropes the whole family in to help out, although we're still not quite sure how Sam puts up with it all!

If you cut Matt open, his blood would run claret and blue.

His commitment, passion and love for Harrow Hill AFC are clear to see, and the club simply wouldn't be the same without him.

A true Hill Hero. 💜💙

💜💙 Throwback Thursday 💙💜 How many familiar faces can you spot? 👀 Back in 2016, a group of former Harrow Hill players came together at the club, old teammates, old stories, old rivalries and probably a few tales that get better every year 🍻⚽

Moments like this are another reminder that Harrow Hill has always been more than just what happens for 90 minutes on a Saturday. The friendships, the memories and the connections built here last far longer than football careers do.

This is what we mean when we talk about the extended Hill family. Once you're part of it, you're always part of it.

On the back of an excellent 25/26 season across the club, attention now turns to the next chapter as we continue to build, improve and push forward💪🏻

💜💙 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨 – 𝐑𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐭 💙💜

The season may have finished, but the hard work around the club never stops, something Roger Beckett knows better than most.

Roger has been a huge part of Harrow Hill AFC for decades and has worn more hats than most could count. Player, goalkeeper, committee member, kit man, groundsman… whatever has needed doing over the years, Roger has stepped up.

He’s the definition of someone who puts the club before himself. Reliable, hardworking and always willing to muck in, his contribution stretches far beyond what happens on a Saturday afternoon.

People like Roger are the reason clubs like Harrow Hill continue to thrive. The jobs that keep a club moving often happen quietly in the background, but they matter just as much as anything that happens on the pitch.

A true Hill Hero and someone we’re proud to recognise. 💜💙

⚽ RESERVE TEAM MANAGER WANTED ⚽

An exciting opportunity has become available at Harrow Hill Football Club following our current Reserve Team Manager stepping up to take charge of the First Team.

This isn’t a rebuild job, it’s an opportunity to take over a talented, competitive squad that finished 3rd in North Glos Division 1, with quality already in place and real momentum behind them.

You’ll work closely with our First Team and Third Team management to create clear progression pathways throughout the club, helping players develop and move between squads as part of a connected club structure.

What’s already in place:

✅ Close links with First & Third Teams
✅ Great social side and club atmosphere
