Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandads, stepdads and father figures out there. 👏

Thank you for being role models, supporters and cheerleaders.

And with today being the Summer Solstice, we’re also enjoying the longest day of the year and the official start of astronomical summer in the UK.

☀️ More daylight
☀️ More opportunities to get outside
☀️ More chances to move your body

How are you spending the longest day of the year?

Mobility work isn’t the most exciting part of training, but it can make the biggest difference.

A few minutes spent improving movement quality can help:

✔️ Reduce stiffness
✔️ Improve exercise technique
✔️ Support injury recovery

Your body will thank you for it.

What’s your favourite mobility exercise?

Sometimes progress looks like:

✅ Walking upstairs without pain
✅ Feeling stronger carrying the shopping
✅ Sleeping better
✅ Having more energy throughout the day
✅ Feeling confident in your own body again

The best results often happen before you see physical changes.

What progress have you noticed recently?

✅ Consistency beats perfection every time.

Small steps, repeated week after week, lead to big results. Whether your goal is to get stronger, move without pain, improve your fitness, or simply feel more confident, focus on showing up rather than being perfect.

What’s one thing you’re doing for your health today? 👇

Many aches and pains don’t mean you need complete rest. Often the right exercises can help improve strength, mobility, and confidence while reducing discomfort.

If you’re struggling with an injury or persistent ni**le, don’t just put up with it. There may be a better way forward.

One of the biggest reasons people put off exercising is because they think they need to be in better shape before they begin.

But that’s a bit like saying you need to get clean before taking a shower.

Whether you’re:
• Returning after injury
• Feeling weaker than you used to
• Recovering from illness
• Going through menopause
• Feeling nervous about the gym

You don’t need to have it all figured out.

Everyone starts somewhere.

The important thing is finding an approach that feels manageable, safe and realistic for you.

Small steps consistently taken will always beat waiting for the “perfect time.”

💜 If you’ve been thinking about getting stronger but aren’t sure where to start, send me a message with the word START and let’s have a chat.

One thing I hear a lot is:

“I thought I just needed to stretch more.”

And sometimes stretching can help…

But pain, stiffness and tightness are not always as straightforward as they seem.

A few things that often surprise people:

✨ Tight muscles can actually be weak muscles
✨ Rest isn’t always the answer
✨ Building strength can often improve pain and confidence

Every body is different, which is why there’s never a one-size-fits-all approach.

Sometimes the biggest difference comes from understanding why your body is feeling the way it is.

Did any of these surprise you? 👇

Reviews like this genuinely mean so much 💜

When clients first come to me, many are feeling unsure, weaker than they used to, recovering from illness, injury or simply feeling like their body has changed.

Watching someone rebuild confidence in movement, regain strength and feel more like themselves again is one of the best parts of what I do.

Sheila came to me after a difficult period and seeing the progress she has made feeling stronger, fitter and with very little pain is exactly why gradual, supportive training matters.

Sometimes progress isn’t about huge transformations.

Sometimes it’s:
✨ Feeling stronger
✨ Moving with more confidence
✨ Less pain
✨ Feeling like yourself again

If you’re nervous about getting back into exercise, you don’t have to figure it out alone 💜

Send me a message if you’d like to chat.

5 signs your body is asking for strength training.

Carousel idea:

1. Constant aches and stiffness
2. Struggling getting up from the floor
3. Feeling weaker than before
4. Balance feels off
5. Everyday things feel harder

If you’ve been feeling weaker, achey or unsure where to start, message me ‘STRONG’ and let’s chat.

Messages like this are exactly why I love what I do 💙

Earlier this year, I supported a client after a difficult spell in hospital and wanted to share this lovely message 👆

Recovery and rebuilding strength can feel overwhelming, especially after illness, injury or time away from exercise.

Sometimes it’s not about intense workouts it’s about the right support, building confidence again and helping the body move and feel better step by step.

Seeing clients regain strength, reduce pain and feel more like themselves again is the best part of what I do 💙

If you’re recovering from injury, illness, or want support getting stronger safely, send me a message to see how I can help.
