It’s always sad to hear fellow anglers having their hard earned kit stolen but none more so then a team member. Long serving team member Michael McNamara had his van broken into whilst away in Wi******er and had numerous items taken and sent us a list in the hope that you guys could keep your eyes and ears open to hopefully recover some of it. Amongst the items taken were 3 century NG+ rods 50 mm butt minima 4 guides with purple whipping on each eye of the rod, line clips in carbon and alps centra lock gloss black seats. 3 penn vantage XT long cast 8000. The rods where in a 3 rod Korda compac dark camouflage bag , the rucksack was a 45l Korda compac dark camo bag inside was a Korda compac dark camo spare spool case wide with the 3 penn spare spools a scales pouch in the Korda dark camo with my Irish Reuben heaten scales. There was also a delkim txi receiver in there alongside a ridgemonkey pop up tube. Korda chod rig bin, tracker stove, Korda lead pouch, Nash 30 years lead pouch, Nash 30 years bits bag , Korda compac dark camo goo bag a Korda tackle box with all the bits in plus terminal , a Korda rig board the long one , a Korda crusher m, mad baits wafters and pop ups in side pockets plus sprays in p fish ab banana nutz, theirs probably bits I’ve missed also , I had a daiwa seabass rod and shimano reel tacken loaded with braid an had a rapala rap otus firetiger lure on it also. The list is endless so we’d really appreciate your help in locating it and hopefully reuniting Michael with his kit. Many thanks everyone 🎣🎣

NEW PB FOR MARC 😍

Long standing customer plans fell nicely into place after a few weeks of prebaiting,he nipped after work in pursuit of this magnificent creature on a quick overnighter.
Only an hour had passed and the rod absolutely melted off and with “an epic boat battle in torrential rain” this absolute stunner tipped the scales round to an impressive 42LB 9oz personal best.

🎣 Marc’s method consisted of a Sn**ch D rig size 4 a hook that he has had complete confidence in for years and more importantly was able to share this moment with dad and dog Herbie 🫶🏻

Hybrids Nick Hostler put an end to a long run of blanks on the front lake at Chase with this fine looking 29lber. This carp is now Nicks lake best from the front lake and is 1 of the originals. Nick fished a Ronnie rig with the phenomenal Sn**ch hook in a size 4 micro barbed, redemption hooklink, micro ring swivels and hook beads all from the hybrid range. Long serving team member Carl Relph made good use of some down time and landed this awesome looking fully weighing in at 24lbs+. This stunner was the pick of a pair of carp Carl managed to land at his syndicate water. The trusty widegapes holding firm for both fish amongst other components used. Hybrids Ben Heath shows that it pays to leave the rods til last when packing up. Ben decided to leave them out just 5 minutes more and this fine looking carp picked up his German rig to put the shine on a 48hr session. Weighing in at 32lbs 8oz it was no match for Hybrids end tackle range including a size 6 Armohawk Curv hook, a hook bead and a V2 bait screw. Fine work Ben as always Ben 🎣🎣

With a day off at short notice, team member David Prictor made full use and jumped on a friends club water as a guest and landed this awesome 26lb 15oz beauty. A size 6 Curv and Conda hooklink was this carps downfall with a Northampton special wafter. Well done Dave 🎣🎣

Hybrids Steve Dawkins and good friend Alan Shrimpton had a successful weeks fishing in France recently. With 18 runs, 11 landed, 2 catfish cut offs, 3 lost carp and a few aborted runs the lads were kept on their toes going on to land various sized fish up to 50lbs+ carp and a monstrous 97lb+ cat. Most of the fish were tamed on size 5 or 6 Curvs with the big cat falling victim to a size 2 Curv with Redemption hook links. Another addition to the lads armoury was something in the pipeline but we’ll save that for another day 😉A great weeks angling and some memories made, well done lads 👏👏 Hybrid.co.uk
