Hello everyone, I have tried to message everyone who has expressed an interest in restarting or joining us as a new starter but am having trouble finding messages sent via this page.
Here is the bad news that I have sent to those who I managed to contact(apologies to those I have missed):
Unfortunately, following the latest decision to suspend the easing of Covid restrictions we have decided to postpone opening of the Judo club until after the next announcement.
Please be assured that we are very keen to resume training but are committed to doing so safely and when we can teach Judo properly.
Thank you again for your interest and I hope you will bear with us and join us as soon as possible.

I have been lucky enough to attend a training session with Nekoda in the past and would recommend it to anybody, especially with an opportunity like this where you can do it from home.

Hi All!

Hope everybody is keeping safe and well during these difficult times! The coaches and committee are missing you all dearly and cannot wait to get back to training and see you all!

Today’s post is not judo related, but more focused on our community; which Kodokan Judo, Droitwich play such a big part in.

It is, in times like these, that we need to support our local businesses! The big franchises will simply ‘dust off’ the impact that lockdown has had, for those that are independent, it can be much more difficult.

So give those, and in this case Sandwyche Station your support!! (aswell as that, their food and customer service is second to none) 👍🏻

‼️CLUB UPDATE - Coronavirus (19/03/20)

Unfortunately, the club will now be CLOSED until further notice!

The health and safety of our members, coaches and all others who walk through our doors is paramount! And with the recent government instruction, it would be irresponsible and unsafe if we remained open.

Look after yourselves, look after eachother and always follow NHS and Government advice.

‼️CLUB UPDATE‼️ (please read):

Kodokan Judo, Droitwich are to remain open as normal for the foreseeable, however its committee and coaches are keeping up to date with all advice and guidance regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

We therefore ask the following from all persons planning to attend training:

▪️If you feel unwell, particularly with symptoms such as a cough, fever and/or difficulty breathing, please DO NOT come to the club. Stay at home and follow the governments advice.
▪️ ALL persons who do come to the club, whether going on the mat or not, please wash your hands upon arriving.
▪️Do NOT bring any food into the dojo. Members should come equipped with a non-fizzy drink to keep at the side of the mat.

If you have any of the above symptoms or flu like symptoms in general, you must not attend the club for atleast 7 days after the symptoms have finished.

We are constantly monitoring the situation and will notify all members of any changes as it happens.
