Physique Fitness was started in the year 2000 and continued to trade up until a week ago. I would like to thank all of our loyal members both past and present. There have been many ups and downs along the way and we have been blessed to serve so many amazing people over the years. There are of course all manner of rumours and spurious accusations being thrown around on social media as Physique wasn’t just a gym we also had many other businesses that sublet parts of our building. Unfortunately the massive increase in rent and electric prices were ultimately the downfall of the business. The gym didn’t feel that they could justifiably increase their tenants rent to help cover these increased costs and despite having tried all manner of options to save the business, including contacting Wychavon Council, it was an impossible battle. Therefore with the demise of Physique it has led to huge difficulties for all of the other businesses that shared our building over the years. To those out there hiding behind anonymous profiles making up all sorts of conspiracies, I am more than happy to talk to anyone face to face about the situation. Don’t sit behind your keyboard making up all sorts of nonsense. I have been juggling bills and attempting to increase revenue to stave off closure and disruption to everyone affected. If you think running a business in this climate with astronomical rent, electric and business rates is easy then please try it yourselves.
Once again though I’d like to thank everyone that contributed to Physique Fitness being an amazing place to train over the last 26 years. Our members are what make the gym, not the equipment, not the building.
